Desktop x Client Problem in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

I have Desktop X installed I have checked the box to run at windows start up. The problem is in the last week this does not work, I have checked the settings they are correct. I have to manually start desktopX everytime I re-boot or logon after logging off this is frustrating. I have even uninstalled Desktop X still no luck Is there a registry setting, if so what is it step by step please TIA

Yes the old Typo bugga boo, I corrected it. The funny part is my WinCustomize Subscription which I extended at same time added one year to the date the old one expired. Why didn't OD do this ? The previous time I renewed it added one year to the date the old one expired.

Why My old OD subscription expires, 11/16/2011. I just renewed today, the new expiration shows that the new expiration is 10/17/2012 Why? I think the one year renewal should be added to the old and the new renewal date should read one year from the Old date so it should read 11/16/2011 instead of what it reads now 10/17/2012. In theory I am being screwed out of a month of my old subscription. Any lawyers around :)

A full partition image applied over an old OS replaces everything on that partition nothing from the OLD OS will be there period. If you are just restoring file yes there will be hooks from old OS there.

The only problem I had with 7.3 was it could/ would not install via Impulse something about could not archive the files. I downloaded from my store account and installed with no problems every thing running smooth on my laptop and Primary system

A back up image should have worked because it is an image of the disc/partition prior to installing 7.3 so nothing from 7.3 should even be on an image that was done prior to installing 7.3

Neil I finally got it to work, I had to completely uninstall Splash of gold made sure no indicators were public\documents\stardock\themes and did search for other instances of Splash of Gold in the c drive found downloaded the theme again and everything appears to function properly
