Hi again. =) So I am working on my window borders. Even while using the original templates image for the maximized caption setting, the image is shifted off screen. Where do I change this? Ive tried adjusting painting margins but no luck. I must be missing something some where. Text is line up fine, I found that, but i cant figure this images setting.

So ive been working on my skin here. I got to the window borders and im using perpixel. My shadows show up extremely hard and accented and obvious. I was curious if any of you have any suggestions on what layer blending method i should use in photoshop for the shadows. Drop Shadow? Outer Glow? Using outerglow if i swap the color to 0 0 0 i get nothing and if i mess with the settings a bit it turns out to pronounced and the grabber / size adjusting arrow for the window border starts wa
Yeah. Fences are nice. Ive had no probs with it at all. I could see a brico pack borking it up since it messes with shell.dll's and other system files to work. For example, If you look at the xpize.net faq, youll see that it can grow the shell32.dll to upto 32 megs. Holy cow.
Same here. Just upped my object dekstop ultimate a couple weeks ago.
I was wondering about that to since I saw folks saying they were using it. =\
Thank you! I did eventually find it. Just forgoet to mention I found this one to. =D
vStyler, Ive pretty much been using one of stardocks basic Vista styled themes as my template theme. I think it might be there Diamond theme. Either way dont matter haha. Ive referenced several themes to get to answers to other parts that the template doesnt use. In general my theme isnt anything overly complicated graphic wise. Ive been sticking with the themes image dimensions, and the effects are pretty much gradiants only when I do use anything. Whats more important to thi

Ive been using Vista for 2 or 3 years now. Ive not had any complaints other then boot time. But that was a system upgraded from 2000 > XP > Vista. So it had tons o garbage. I recently did a format finally and installed the 64 bit version. Its nice having 8 gigs of ram. I have yet to run out of memory and i play games, watch movies, graphics editing, level design. A lot of the time all at once. =D After a couple of service packs, Vista is actually a pretty stable s
Yeah. Ive gathered that so far. It just seems I must be missing some kind of detail because I cant always get these to work the right way. Maybe its a graphic size issue or something. Hey thanks for the response. Hope some one can find that tutorial link hehe. -J
