Just download the themes and icons from the object dock site and unzip them into the corresponding folders in object dock. You can also use any icons and .png files. For the backgrounds you need to get those from the site and put them in the background folder in the program. The themes in the themes folder. You can see your folders by going to computer, then programs, then stardock or object dock, and there are your folders. Hope this helps.

No, it happens to me too. I get server errors, sometimes I can't get on. If I browse without being logged in, it too is much faster, like it is for Karen. My stats page is still messed up. Getting some pages to open is like pulling teeth. It took me 3 tries to get to this thread without having a server error. I have a 2.6GHZ pentium 4 with 1 gig ram. I use Firefox and IE on Widows XP home. My connection is cable modem with 5mbps speed. But I must say

If you had purchased Desktop X you should be at level 4 not 2. And what does having any version of Windowblinds have to do with it? The good people here are trying to help you. You should not be so rude.

And it only captures the cursor if you have CursorXP installed. You are absolutely right. The regular cursor disappears when you hit the PrtScrn button. I didn't know that until I just tried it!

It does on mine. Maybe we are talking about 2 different things. I set my desktop like I want it. Hit print screen button. Open paint and hit paste. I give it a name and save it as a .jpg. My cursor and everything on my desktop is on the image. Even the cursor the trails and WMP visuals.

It does pick up the cursor, and also the visualzations on WMP. All my screenies are done with paint. Everything on my desktop is picked up.

Boss is absolutely right. He forgot to tell you, to upload a screen shot and the like to this site it needs to be in .jpg format. So, save anything for uploading to this site in that format.

Geez, this is still going on? Neo, the only time a person should have to learn another language, is if they are planning to live there. I think you have given us all the reasons in the world why we would not want to live in France. If you don't like Americans, then don't come around any of us. There are enough serious problems in the world. You may not like us, but we are a free people. We can choose whether or not we speak another language. More impor

I had this problem too. Get your task bar to come up through the program or running the mouse over where the taskbar should be. Right click on it and click on properties. uncheck auto hide and check keep the taskbar on top of other windows.. Desktop X changes these settings directly on the taskbar too. That should do it.

Are you using the latest beta version? If you are, that is the problem. There have been several threads about this and other problems with the beta version.

Hmmmm. Mine has shutdown, show/hide taskbar, object dock tray, and weather docklets plus a couple others. Maybe you can download them from the Object Dock page by putting in Docklets.

Use Object Dock. It comes with a shutdown docklet! https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/ You can also do it with Sysmetrix by right clicking on it. http://www.customize.org/list/sysmetrix/5/5/ There is also Object Bar https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/ If there are other ways, I do not know them. Hope this helps
