When you unzip the file you should see Optix wba.and a zip that says Optix Sidebar. Unzip the sidebar and place the folder in the Windwblinds folder which is located here C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds

You may want to check and verify whether the msstyle is intended for use with Vista. That's what the problem is. I tried an older VS I had archived and it worked fine. Thanks. Just to clarify the error said: "Resource THEME_INI not found"

This may be way off base but check to see if any wires are rubbing against your fans. I had this problem once where a wire was rubbing the fan and you would only here it when the fan was at a higher speed.
