i haven't played the game since the first official release(haven't even tested the new magic system since it changed). i decided to wait until v1.2 to give it a go. i have tons of faith in stardock and the elemental franchise i just wanted to wait until it approached what the stardock team wanted it to be. i have just about forgot how to even play the game lol. i look forward to playing it once again. my only wish at this p

i think that the buy out is good for impulse. i am wary, but gamestop has the marketing muscle to take impulse to the next level and i'm for that. and as for FE, well as long as you get it out before the end of 2012. i wanna play it before the world ends [e digicons][/e]

yeah this is the kinda of thing that wakes you up from that fairytale gaming bliss. i don't really have anything against gamestop per se, but to so easily have my games change hands without any control over it does make me stop and rethink digital distribution. i love the concept of DD, but like all technology it can be used for good or evil. i guess we will see which way it goes. here's hoping for the better.

i guess the best way to look at the whole sovereign death thing is this. are playing the kingdom or are you playing the sovereign? because if you are playing the kingdom then it makes sense that when he dies the next child in line becomes the sovereign and you keep going. if this is true the sovereign should be weaker and closer to basically a champion, because he doesn't really matter. </p

well said raven, well said. about a year ago i picked up jagged alliance 2 on GOG.com. it was a game that i had always wanted to play back in the nineties but never got around to it. needless to say it was definetly one of those golden era pc games. well, i remember that there was a point in the game wehre i had 2 guys shooting at someone, and one of my shooters had run out of ammo. i really didn't know what to do, but i was aware

i think it would be interesting to have a base already built for you and instead have base management. this way you wouldn't have to place anything initially and you would just have to allocate limited resources and rebuild what gets destroyed. later in the game you would create forward bases but it would be a single placement that would require you to allocate your resources to them thus giving you a strong

yeah bad company 2 was excellent. the story was decent and the action good. the guns feel amazing, and the audio is some of the best out there.

played borderlands? its not very realistic, but it has i think 17 MILLION different guns and still counting! you will find no game that offers that variety. there isn't much interaction with the environment i suppose but the game is super fun to play. it has 4 player co-op if you have some friends to play with and is an excellent multiplayer game. its a kind of FPS RPG hybrid. the shooting mechanics are very good for a pc sho

man i just hope that the issue with having to make a unit leave your stack to get enchanted and then move back is fixed. i really need this fix. its only 1 of 2 things keeping me from playing this game right now, the other being multiplayer save game issues. i haven't played since the official 1.09 because i want to be blown away by all the improvements.

hmmm i both agree and disagree. to me its all about the moment. sometimes it seems excessive and rude to me, other times its perfectly acceptable and normal sounding. i guess i am caught between worlds. however i do tend to not cuss if i know that the person i am talking to doesn't like it, out of respect. on the internet however, well its just a madhouse and you have to just go with it.

ok what would you think about instead of just a general mana pool you also had different types of elemental mana as well? basically you would have water, earth, fire, and air mana alongside general mana. the idea is this. general mana is used for casting all spells. its your main power reserve. then when you get a shard you also start building up a store of elemental mana crystals. ok

from what i understand of multiplayer the game saves to the stardock servers. i had some issues before when trying to play with a friend. that was a couple months ago. i haven't tried it since then. i hope they fix multiplayer save games as well, considering the scope of a large game.
