I'm ashamed that I watched it for as long as I did. I think anyone else who watched it should be ashamed too. I've heard people wonder why they stare at things like that, and they say it's like watching a train wreck. "It's so hard to look away." I've done it too. But my brain can't handle too much of

lw & lh... back atcha Well, I cant do without computers! But it seemed a much simpler life. It sure would be hard to be pulled out of our lives now and thrown into rugged living. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=cente

I agree Sally, her smarts are definitely what made her famous and enduring. I've enjoyed a lot of her music. Catchy tunes. Now at this point in her career (I'm surprised she's still at it; she's already accomplished everything she wanted), I fall into the category of people who think old woman who's trying to hold ont

So what on earth are you going to podcast about? Gosh girl you must have a lot to say! I can't think of any reason I'd need to do such a thing, but then again you've got a lot on your mind, judging from all of your articles you write

I took my bunny, Simon, to a local rehab facility. My first thought was, "What is your bunny recovering from?" hehe My definition of a rehab facility is for drug rehab, so that's where my mind went. Good for you & Simon cheering up the old folks.

Yes, I have a love / hate relationship with our basement. I love it because we can stash stuff down there that we don't feel like dealing with. And since only the walls are finished, we can play sidewalk chalk down there on too hot days with our little boy. But the sump pump. It's one reason I rarely go down there alone. In order to do laundry I have to go past the sump pump. It has no cover on it, and sump pumps have given me the creeps ever

Trudy, we can always count on you for having some connection to the beautiful past. I just finished that one book I picked up, but it was a great escape from today's world. I do plan to plow through the series as I find the need for more escaping. (As a sidenote, I found at least 5 obvious typos in the book. That bugged me. While LIW's writing style was very simple, I'm glad she wrote it anyway. And I wonder why it's classified as

"well I didn't ask to be born you know" or "You're the one who wanted kids." The ingrates! Ha! So, I was thinking, do you realize we give our kids the best years of our lives? It's the time of life when we are you

At the library the other day with my little son, stranded in the children's section with him, I browsed some titles. Yes, there I was in the children's section searching for something to sate my OWN literary needs. I've grown so tired of indulging my son in his love for the Berenstain Bears, and so sick of Clifford. Why people write such crap, I dunno, but my son love

This story just gives me one more reason to consider homeschooling. GRRRRR at public schools. I wonder if we can just drop the kids off at school for recess & physical education then take the real academics into our own hands? I've heard of families who do this. And the kids are quite bright & happy. But what a drag. So much for mommy's free time Here's a quote I like, and think about a lot for my child's

Yeah I'd be sickened if everyone were wearing a symbol of my son's death. I know a worldwide church of Jesus Christ that doesn't display the cross -- ever. Unless in a reverent painting depicting the events on the hill the day he was crucified. But they believe in Christ, teach of Christ, and strive to live by his teachings. People have asked how they can profess to belive in Jesus Christ without bearing the sign of the cross, and the

That information sounds really savvy...but I say, If caught speeding, fess up and pay the piper. Then don't get caught speeding again. P.S. Spam is lame.

I don't want the big wedding day. It just wouldn't suit me, and the way I am. I hear ya. I just can't imagine going through all the trouble that your cousin is going through. But like you said, some people like planning years for a huge formal occasion. My wedding was just my style and I never

Outwardly one would see no reason for me to be disenchanted with my husband. He provides for our son & me, he loves us like crazy and he loves no one else. So what gives...? I'll tell you a quick thing that happened today to illustrate. We listened as our Sunday School class discussed something from second Chronicles chapter 30 verse 10. Somethi

I would LOVE if they had a place like that around here. Two haircuts ago, the barber actually sent us away without cutting our son's hair because she couldn't deal with our child laying in a heap, screaming, on the floor. Imagine! : : Miraculously the next time we tried, there was a nice lady there who charmed my son into a haircut. I'm telling you, it was nothing short of miraculo

Yes, OBGYN Orian has officially decreed that pregnant women should NOT grill. Hehe. Oh goody, I love it when we get out of doing things. I further propose we shouldn't stand by the sink and wash dishes because the baby might get wet. And I think we should be exempt from doing laundry because it just plain sucks. :<img src="

I didn't feel like making a serious meal You could've fooled me! Peach salsa? Blanching? Sounds like work to me! When I "cook" it almost always involves putting something from the freezer into the microwave. Sad I know, being a housewife and all. I had no idea Johnny Depp was in any Nightmare o
