RE: Citizen Paul Doland: Citizen C²zero says that 98 was a great OS for its time. Um, no, it wasn't. Though OS/2 never reached critical mass, it was a far better, far more stable OS and was out years earlier. me: I still use PCDOS 2000 and OS/2 on a few PCs My only problem with OS/2 is that it was a pain to get it setup. Drop 98 and ME support and sell less, make less, charge more. Humm, sounds like plan... Out of everyone I know real well, 7 out of 10 of them have 98. They dont care about new features of newer releses of OS's, and they are not gona pay for something they don't need or want. When Microsoft drops support for 2000, that will be one of their biggest mistakes ever. They are fixing to drop NT (if they havent yet), and I have not seen many people happy about XP or .net (in the server world).

98 "was" a great OS in its time. I upgraded to 2k about a year ago, then a month ago I tried XP, that was the biggest mistake I ever made. XP has too much extra crap that I wish I had an option to not install them. I hate the "new look", the eye candy eats way more resources than needed, It takes forever to move through the pc because "this folder is contains crap that runs the pc and if changed, can make unwanted behavior" messages come up on my most used folders and you have to buy the more ex

So if I wanted to make a GameCube skin (which I'm not), I would have to get permission from Nintendo? Also, is it wrong for people like ign to use box art, videos, images, etc... of games on their website? Or do they get permission? I don't know, because Microsoft, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and lots of other companies advertise on their website, which they use their images, box art, videos, etc... ??? <img src="http://image

Linux has a good thing going for it, but one thing they don''t have is PC games. Linux might go over yith the adults, but kids will stick to Microsoft.
