It was about time I cleaned my computer out, so I went ahead and did a fresh install of Windows (nothing like the smell of a cleaned out computer). I may give the program another shot, it looks great. I don't think I had absolutely everthing set back to defauld Windows...that could have been the problem, but it's all sorted out now on this end. Thanks for the help! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif" border=0 ALI

See, that's the wierd thing -- I installed everything to begin with, and when I uninstalled, I checked for everything to be uninstalled. It uninstalled the software, most of the regular icons, and almost everything else. What it left behind was a Mac style logon, some of the system icons (like the display icon in the control panel -- there are a number of the icons in there that are like that). Here's a screenshot of what I mean <img src=

On further investigation, it appears that the OSX icons that were included in the program have somehow taken over as the Windows Default icons...meaning I can't restore the XP default, because it's no longer the default. When I log off I still get the OSX logoff screen (and logon screen) when it should be the default Windows logon/logoff. I am running out of options to try and fix this...

I installed the program, I think it looks great and it's quite functional, but in the end I decided to switch back to my old setup. I used the uninstall option from the menu, and I left the search index program installed. When I restarted, everything was back to normal except for a number of system icons, mostly in the control panel. How do I get those back to normal?

Most definitely -- and if you like the look of a particular cursor, and it doesn't come in the color you want, you can change it in the options (with the purchased version of CursorXP). I use the Azar theme cursors. https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=1473&LibID=25 They are originally green in color, but I changed it to blue and it looks great.

I received one as a gift this Christmas, and I absolutely love it! One of my new favorite features is video podcasting. A couple of my favorite shows on the G4 channel release clips of segments of the show that you can download to your iPod for free, so I won't miss at least some parts of the show if I can't catch it on television. If you haven't got a case for it, I would recommend a combination of screen protecter that you apply directly to the sc

I honestly don't know which program is causing this to happen, although it could be Windowblinds. I have found that when I am in certain folders, such as My Pictures, and I use the right click menu I get this: This would work well for my music folders, but it's frustrating here because I can't rearrange pictures by when they were modified. The same thing I foun

The only issue I've had with Firefox 1.5 since I downloaded it is the occasional memory leak -- it took up 160 MB or RAM memory after being left for a few hours...this hasn't happened often (and not recently, in fact) and shutting down firefox fixes it quickly. I have Object Desktop, Windowblinds, and Object Dock and I haven't had any conflicts yet...although I had some issues with the Amazon.com website yesterday using Firefox (not with

I have SD Central set so that it searches for updates as soon as I turn on my computer. For a few days in a row, whenever I turn the computer on, it has told me that SD Central has been updated to version 2.19c[b].159...so I click on the message to update. Nothing at all happens, however, once I've opened SD Central (by that I mean no updates to SD Central, everything else behaves fine). I checked the information in SDC, and it says I have version 2

I'm having the same issues with not being able to hightlight and quote -- I have to copy and paste, then put the code around it. I'm also using regular Adblock, so it will be interesting to see the results of switching to plus...

I have had one issue with it -- it seems to hog a lot of memory if you leave it open for a while. I left it up for a few hour yesterday, and it had consumed around 150 MB of memory! It wasn't a big deal though, I just closed it and started it up again, and it freed it all. I've read of other people having the same problem, but I'm sure it'll be fixed pretty soon (I haven't had any more issues with it since then).

Honestly I love the part saying that it "takes time to earn these titles." Well, yeah it takes time to earn any kind of title, on pretty much any forum, and in the real world (unless you're royalty I guess).

I tried it out using the WB5 and WB 4.6 versions of DogmaX and didn't have any issues -- sorry I can't be of any help with that.

There is an extension available called IE Tab -- allows specific web pages to be viewed using IE in a tab in Firefox. I've tried it out on a couple of sites and it seems to work out ok.
