Ok, this is interesting - for me anyway. I have Windows XP Home with two logons, my partners and my own. The other day I am viewing IE7 on my partners logon and notice that he is not getting the horrid default icon, but the nicer new IE7 icons in the address bar and tab area. That's a shame, I like the look of IE7 and its tabbing capability. I'm pretty sure too though that I had the same problem before I installed it.

Ohhhh dear, hold up, Wait I just found a response to an old question I posted, still figuring out how these things work, lol. After viewing My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types, all the default icons have changed. But the visual in iconpackager section "Icons and Cursors" doesn't show the change. Ooops. So really my only problem is IE7. Sorry about that. Still curious

Hi there Am I correct in my understanding that the default icon provided in IP packages should ideally replace that ugly Shell32 default icon automatically without me having to manually change every single icon that shows it? If not, what is the purpose of providing a "default icon" in the packages. I am using Icon Packager Version 3.11.106(x86) build along with Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and I always have to look at that ugly default icon from Shell32.dll. I

Load and apply cream apogee go to settings, under the "Opening Icon Packages" heading, untick "Restore all icons before opening a new package" then, I close iconpackager and re-open it (so it will acknowledge the change of setting properly) find apogee, choose a subpackage and apply that's what I do anyway, hope it helps <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/w

Hi there I really need help with understanding IconPackager! I have beta version 3.00i[b].002 installed and prior to this I seemed to be able to build an IconPackage that saved and replaced certain custom files like URL, PPS, PPT, POT, DOT, PSD etc. Now with this beta version I can only build and save up to the file icons?
