Thanks Kosatai, I actually use Download Accelerator 5.3 but unfortunately more and more sites do not support any download manager or the resume option (WC being one of them)

True, but I downloaded SP1 for XP (100+Mb). I just started the download in the evening and let is run all the night!! 1 gig would kill me though!!
The sound of a modem dialing and waiting for connection only to get kicked off at some point. Do I miss that? NOT! I will NEVER go back to dialup. Ha, you just don't know how exciting that is, after all you never know how long it takes until you loose your connection and you have to restart that 3Mb (1 hour) download!!!! <img src="http://images.
/me hates I.R Brainiac (dial up is soooo slow!!! )
1. The Birds (Hitchcock is just the king) 2. Alien (the first one) 3. The Shining 4. Se7en (not really horror but just so well done and still effective) 5. Poltergeist (saw this one as a kid but would probably laugh about it now) I have to admit that I haven't seen a real horror flick in age
I had the same problems today. Don't worry DaBlitz, I think they are moving to a different server and everything should be back to normal in a couple of days
Ahhh, I second that!!!! So many times that I had to rebuild the whole theme just because a Windowblind was updated to shell-styles!!! Yep, that would be a great feature!!
Huuu, might be time for a new motherboard? In my experience; once one part starts to go, others are following soon.. Sorry
I won't miss it. I watched it once or twice and then decided it was neither funny nor entertaining
It doesn't really matter whether this is a "Familiy site" or not. After all, I don't think that too many children would hang around a skinning forum anyway. What really matters is (as mentioned above by paxx and Boxxi) is common sense and respect . This forum is generally very good in protecting its own interests and trolls are usually spotted very quickly and get rid off shortly after. I therefore don't think that there is need of a 20 page set of rules which nobody will read anyway.<
What, massages?? Now I feel really cheated!!!!! Why did nobody tell me???? That would put the admins into really good use!!!!
1973.... babling happily away all day long, playing with my soft toys and I might have already graduated from my potty training (born 1970).
Reading through this thread I have been wondering why most people seem to exclude an after-life if they do not believe in (a) God. Why? As a scientist I believe in the Theory of Evolution which for me also includes the evolution of my soul while I am here on earth. It also includes the possibilies of a species that is much older and higher in its state of evolution than humans. Whether one of them was involved in creating (enhancing) human life we won't know until we are actally able to
KarmaGirl is very much like the heart of this messageboard. It would be soo much colder without her. Go Karma Girl!!
Blackhood; I was still answering Kev017's questions. You should have had (at least to my knowledge) an object dock folder included with your toonXP skinpack? Within this folder you should have two things: one folder filled with *.png files (these are your icons for the dock) and another folder containing a couple of *.png's and one file called background.ini. You have to copy the first folder directly into your Object Dock folder, and the second folder goes into your Object Dock\Backgro
What a shame this didn't get accepted. It would go perfectly with the "tore up XP" skin!
The taskbar on the right is a program called object bar. Assuming you have the full object desktop suite, you can start it up manually (all programs\object desktop\object bar). After you have done that you can right-click on the icon in the system tray, go to "general options" and on the "startup options" tab you can set it to "load object bar at startup". The monitors on the top are most likely a free program called Sysmetrix (http://www.xymantix.com/sysmetrix/index.html). If you want
Uhh, I don't have ToonXP, but I assume you downloaded it as a .zip file? If so you might have a folder called object dock?
Click on the "configure object dock" button; on the first tab (appearance) you can choose the background (in your case Toon). If you can't find it in the drop down menue, you will have to use explorer to paste your toon background into the program files\Stardock\objectdock\Backgrounds folder. You will also see that you can choose on which side of the screen object dock will show up and you can also choose whether you want the normal Windows taskbar hidden or not (on Dock contents tab).
I am on Dial-up too, and downloading is anywhere between 2 - 3.5 Kbps No money for Broadband:( Although I like those high quality wallpapers it just takes ages to download them.
Israel is a Jewish state for the Jewish people. To say that a government of a Jewish state is involved in a conspiracy is anti-semitic. Making up such conspiracies about Israel only encourages anti-semitism. What you are saying is that the Israli government can't be critisised or accused of anything ever, because that of course would be antisemi
For the last couple of years I have been a keen observer of America's foreign politics, and I have to say that my uneasiness over the direction this government is heading into grows by the day. If the most powerfull nation of the world blackmails the UN, pulls out of a range of international treaties, inreases its power by invading other countries (of course just to liberate the people), and even more importantly introducing the concept of a "pre-emptive" strike, then the world has reason t
anyone remember that one? Planescape Torment and I also like all "explore and click on everything you see.." games like the Myst series and others like it. and RTS games like Red Alert, Warcraft usw. ... as long as it isn't a FPS...
