When I start skinbrowser, and am connected to the internet already, skinbrowser comes up with the annpuncement: WINSTYLES, you are not connected to the internet.....This happened when I updated to 0,98 SB..Didn't have that message before. Ratings, however can be a certain critic that lets you look at your work in an objective manner. However, I agree that if someone rates someone's work, I would like to see why, in order to get better (if ratings go low) or get a boost (if ratings are good). I use PhotoImpact...And have used GIMP..The sad thing is thst GIMP is not srable on my machine that runs on XP...If I was really into graphics, I think I would use Adobe's Photoshop.

And also, I have seen some submissions with a copyright sign in the popups when you point your cursor on someones work. While, I, as a user (if my memory is correct) can't submit my own copyrighted work... Please correct me if I am wrong there. From what I have understood, submitted work is kind of "umbrella copyrighted" by stardock, and they have the right to use your work for promotional purposes. I have no idea what happens if for instance, my work is used by another without my permission on

well I read that thread on neowin too, seems there is a long feud going along. What a pity. And yes, I sometimes do think people in here jump on people who are critical towards stardock/WC..Now the question is: is this criticism an attempt to make something better? The site isnt a dutch site JAFO...About copyright a question...Does the copyright of work that is hosted/displayed solely by WC/Stardock so that they can sue people if they feel their content shouldn't be displayed or do I possess the copyright and can I sue those rippers? heheheheh
