I did the same thing. I had a file for II that had several thousand real star names. Thinking about Excel and some macros to convert it to III.

Hamilmac thank you for the compliments. Actually I have a mining ship posted a couple months ago that had an asteroid being crushed. It's a shame we wont be needing mining ships in III. I think it is f12, I'm not sure, I use a program for screenshots. I keep copies of every ship I have designed GC2, GC3 or 3dmax.

In battles it seems to me that well armed tiny and small ships must be evading the larger ships and using their combined weapons to take out larger ships. My fleets now consist of: 1 huge 1 large 1 medium 3 small 5 tiny It seems to be a very effective battle group.
