1 on 1 i think it can get repetitivew, at the moment in the beginning fase it plays very much the same, colonize your closest asteroids/planets, you can try to hassle a player early on, but on a 1vs1 map there are only so many areas to fight, so the early game might see some skirmishes, but good players will withdraw if outclassed, which can be seen early on in the fight. So 1vs early stage is quitte repetitive in my opinion, might change with the different races and some other tweaks.<

Watch replay's i guess, there are some nice replays out there, and you can change the speed setting, or pause in a big battle. I think this is a good idea...

If we start a game on saturday or sunday, sunday is better for me i think the best time would be around 4pm gmt, that way us europeans dont have to play beyond midnight, and the us players dont have to get up absurdly early. Thoughts?

It quickly turned into a 3vs 1, me (dutch) multi and derek against annatar. Dereknor was almost wiped out, and then annatar cam after me, i had build to many capitals, and his frigates slaughtered me at my home world, so i had to retreat to the ice world. Annatar put up one hell of a fight against us, in the end it was just numbers that won the game for us, and offcourse dereknors new tactic of mass siege frigates <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif"

Hi all, I want to play a 2vs2 game today, but its kinda hard to find one, with the lobby being empty, and when people join, and dont see anyone they usually leave in 5 minutes. So if anyone wants to do a 2vs2 today, come to the lobby at 1 pm england time/ 2pm eurotime. Thats in 4 hours from now.
