not sure why but i can't auto start DesktopX at bootup, i've ticked the boxes but nothing, wich is a bit of a pain haveing to do it myself every time Any idears!!! Thanks

quick thought. Are you using a .png image for a wallpaper? will think some more.. no it's a JPEG What happens if you save as bmp, with no magic pink? </TABLE

pseudo transparency how do i make this work i've been trying all day!!! i have my background all ready i create the theme But when i tick the box for the pseudo transparency to kick in it all goes transparent what am i doing wrong????

Tell you what i use AVG FREE and it's great, it's not a massive drain on the system and it don't cost (that's allways good) i used to use norton and it just kills your comp.
