I assume you are talking about a Litestep theme? Litestep is a replacement for your windows shell, which is Explorer.exe. It's not the easiest thing in the world to get used to, and if you are not confident with the inner workings of your computer then you may be better off with a shell ENHANCER, such as Desktop X, which doesn't replace your shell, but sits over the top of it. If you do want to go ahead and run Litestep, go over to http://www.litestep.net where you will find everything you need

I don't think you can have a logon screen in ME.
Oh, and the most horrible thing you will find here is LancerKMT, who unfortunately acts as though he is younger than you.
Hi Mecha, you're about the same age as my son. Quicknotes is also a good place to start skinning so if you need any help learning that, just give me a shout, I'll be happy to help.
Lancer: when are YOU going to get OSX?, because maybe if you got it, we might be able to take you seriously when you are extolling it's (apparent) virtues. http://www.dictionary.com
Can't they just eat each other? Survival of the fittest and all that?
This is how it goes.... Unzip everything to the logonstudio directory. Start the logonstudio program and hit the button marked "Refresh List". You should now see your new logon theme in the list, highlight it and hit "Apply". All done!. Easy. Hope this helps.
Since I got XP, Photoshop crashes regularly! You can guess how much I enjoy THAT!!
There are some top quality WB skinners out there, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them pull off a few shocks. This should be really interesting! Damn, I wish I knew how to skin WBlinds!!
Sounds like a very interesting idea, Third Eye. If it's not already possible, I'm sure the guys in the lab will have a look at the possibility.
Just make sure you unzip the file into the Logonstudio folder, and then open the LogonStudio program and if your new screen is in the list, hit APPLY. if it isn't there, hit REFRESH LIST, and then it should be. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips Brad, my 233Mhz processor will really appreciate these!!

But you must remember that lots of people don't mind fiddling around with a theme to configure it for their system, especially if the theme has a particular look that they like. I used to spend hours changing Litestep themes to suit my needs, and it's a lot easier to change things in DX. In many of my themes, the shortcuts tend to be text based so that they can easily be changed or removed, and I usually try to include many popular apps that most people would have. Personally, I don't like i
I think he means the amp controllers built into Window Blinds skins, but I don't know the answer.
