A small tip for Xion skinners...... in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I'm not sure if this is well known, but there is a way to make Xion display 3D looking text in the track layer, and it's quite simple to do: Firstly, make your track layer as normal, including the font name and size etc, then, duplicate the track layer and move it down below the original track layer in your layers list. Next, go to "image> Adjustments> Brightness/contrast" and reduce the brightness of the color you used until it's quite a bit darker than the original tra

I have taken a screenshot of my gallery page on Wincustomize, and made some changes in Photoshop to show how much better it would look if the skin information was moved down away from the thumbnail. Surely this can't be hard for the web guys at Stardock...... The thumbnail that I changed has the red square around it........

Stardock sell thousands of computer games and hundreds of software titles, so Impulse makes complete sense. Do you ever go to Ebay? Are there not ads all over the front page of Ebay? You're free to delete it once you've installed Fences....... There is nothing wrong with Impulse at all, I have it installed on my system but I stopped it from running at start-up. It creates no problems with my system, and I run it occasionally to check for updates, or to chat on IRC. There are substyles with the Vox skin, if you look at the bottom of the WB config window you should see a tab that says "4 Styles", click that and apply "Vox Vista". It has the darker window background. "Vox Vista2" has the white window. B[]

Been snowing in leeds too Michael...... Had to go to Birmingham and back (from Leeds) yesterday, and the M1 was closed because of that accident on the viaduct near Meadowhall.
