the difference between people in real life, and people on the internet is that people on the internet seem to be looking for a reason to get pissed off about something, when in fact all that happened here was that I introduced a new program and everyone went haywire...that is immature and ridiculous
no, i didnt forget that post...i stated a fact that it isnt good enough to be charged for. bashing would be saying something like "OD sucks, dont use it, it is horrible!!!" but i didnt...in all my posts i have said "use whatever you want" or "they are both free, try them both" something to that extent
oh my gosh Jafo...we can get into that discussion if you want, about how if we didnt have that kind proprietary stuff that we would be about 20 years ahead of where we are now with computer technology, but we won't get into it, because the bottom line is that proprietary companies just want money...it boils down to that simple statement. why all of the sudden when all i say is "Aqua Dock is better than ObjectDock" make you think that I am "bashing" anyone? I just stated why I think AD is better and I backed it up with fact. I never said OD was a "bad" program
what? no valid points? I gave you three main reasons why OD doesn't work as well as Aqua Dock. read my post again. ther was no bashing, just facts on how the program works
so who cares about Apple? lol...Apple is proprietary, and as long as disallows daughter companies to make it's hardware and computer architechture, then it deserves to be ripped off, and open sourced
Dude...this site does not make the OD software! lol...Stardock make the software, not this site. This site jus thosts peer interaction for sharing mods for Stardock's and other companies' programs. Wincustomize.com doesn't "make" any of this software that we share
I joined this site summer of last year...get a life. And second, I didnt make Aqua Dock so it isn't my software. Third, wincustomize.com isnt owner nor affiliated with Stardock the makers of OD, so I dont know what you mean about the "good people" but the fact is, in many other review also, that the performance, look, and functaionlity of Aqua Dock beats OD...besides isn't the goal of this site to promote new programs that "customize" your windows OS? I think so
well I also have a 415mb library of all my OSX copyrighted icons so I know how to make Aqua Dock look 10 times better than OD, but like i said, use whatever you want. I prefer the performace and functionality and look of AD over OD since for OD requires you to download stuff to use on it, instead of just using existing icons and rendering them nicely
Aqua Dock is a superior program for three main reasons: 1 - You can not only add .png and .ico and any of the same things ObjectDock can add, but you can also import old YZ Docklets to your bar also. 2 - Aqua Dock does not use GDI, but rather DirectX which is seamless with Microsoft, and therefore Aqua Dock is flawlessly smooth and crystal clear. Object dock will become grainy if you wich to zoom in more, and will hang for a second when moving the mouse fast along the bar. Ob
um, ok whatever, i was just trying to be nice and give you guys a better program that what you all have. you can be immature and mean, but this program (Aqua Dock) is superior and free too, but do whatever u want
Aqua Dock lets you add yz docklets too if you want, so you can use Yz docklets from your old program if you choose to use Aqua Dock. This by the way was the very first docking program ever made, and the best one made. Trust me, if you try it out and it isnt better than Object Dock or YZ Docklet, then I'll shut up, but I know I', right since I am a programmer and modder myself

have u ever used Aqua Dock? it is 100% smooth and better quality, doesnt used GDI, uses DirectX, so much smoother and sharp. I have 23 icons on my Aqua Dock bar and I can go from one end to the other fast without any glitches or hangs. I do the same amount of icons with Object Dock and it glitches 2 times...I have a 256mb video card, and and Athlon 64-fx processor...it isnt my computer, it is the crappy program
AquaDock is handsdown better than this application. Object dock is jumpy and grainy when changing magnifications. I hate Object dock...it is just another program produced by an already established company that thinks they can get away with crappy programming like this...why do you think they made it freeware? they know it is too crappy to sell alone
