One problem I'm having playing in a window on the primary screen is that if I slowly move the mouse to the top of the screen, I can't get past the window's title bar (blue bar that says GalCiv2 0.0.0). It seems that the mouse is getting its position reset below the line. If I push my mouse really fast, I can exit via the top of the window.

Are multiple monitors supported? I'd love to have GC2 full screen in my prmary monitor and email/web open in the secondary monitor. Right now, it looks like the secondary screen has its resolution 'adjusted' and everything is shifted over.

ATI HDTV Wonder Glitches in Gadgets & Electronics JoeUser Forums

Does the ATI MMC crash when you start up the TV (notDTV) app? For me, I had the CC captions set to show up in an external window. Well, it turns out that when MMC couldn't recognize the CC in the external window, it crashes. To fix it, I had to edit the reistry to turn off the external window for CCs. More details later.... You're dead on, the ATI UI is horrible. I can't understand how it got through any sort of usibility testing. I'd love to be able to code a floating bar (via Object Dock) that has my favorite channels on it. Plus switching between SD and HDTV is a pain. You're in HDTV with one interface and then you have to exit and go into SD with another interface. Simply abysmal.

Be sure to check out www.avsforum.com, there are a bunch of discussions on pc video cards and their features. I wanted to stay in an ATI environment, so the Wonder card had a big lead in the selection process. There are defintely other cards out there with a more open programming environment, which will let the software capabilities exapand.
