Cute lil analogy Sembetu but did the store manufacture all those cute covers you're talking about or did some of the customers? You see most the skins that are uploaded here were given as a "gift" to share w/ other ppl who own the software, now if the store is gonna charge them rent they should "all" get some money too...

If you alter the eri file (or any other files you alter for that matter) you just need to keep a copy of the original one so if you do need to go into the shop w/ the phone you can change things back before you go, if you forget to keep a copy of the original files you're bound to have problems. (some you can't repair)

Depends are what exactly you are hacking taking off the companies irritating banners and replacing the text and or images w/ something you want on your phone rather then theirs won't harm security but will piss them off waranty wise when you go and complain when "something else" happens to go wrong down the line it simply gives them an excuse to blame the problem on you messing w/ things they want their way and not yours etc.

And here's the other program http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/471069-1.html just be careful what you do and don't fry your phone or if you have a warranty and you remove your Verizon banner and things of that nature (and they notice) you may ruin your warranty rights (so think before you play, me plays before I think but I tell other ppl not to)

I was trying to find my old links and found this one http://bitpim.sourceforge.net/#download this program lets you access system files and mess around there but it's for the prior versions of LG phones I have not fooled around w/ the newer phones for a while (get a ppc phone) hehe

All you need is the cable for that particular phone and some downloadable software (It's free look for QPST2_7 or Bit something or other) once you have that you can hack the eri file and remove the Verizon banner and do all sorts of fun things (if you don't end up frying your phone) Read around on here ===> http://cellphoneforums.net/f90 (me is more into ppc things than regular phones but I've fixed a few phones up for some friends)

I don't understand why men cannot multi-task??? You mean you cannot pay bills, wash dishes, take a shower, run out to the show or do whatever for a few hours and then go home walk up to your machine and come visit? It's too hard? hehe!
