So there ya go, my first submissions to this site, two (actually three, but on got "moderated") wide-screen wallpapers. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=8&SkinID=3584 https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=8&SkinID=3582 I don't have *any* clue why the one got moderated, it's actually the nicest oen of them, and I've been using it since I first created it. (You can see it in the "Current Desktop" screenshot) If anyone wants it, just ask.<b

I'm wayyy to picky with WindowBlinds and Icons. so blame me, but the only icons I ever use are mormegil's FausX-XP (Cobalt/Onyx). today, I'm using ProjectX by Mike Bryant for WB, but that could easily change in the matter of hours. It all depends if and when I change my wallpaper

I can take *any* amount of good-looking wallpapers My sister just pointed to me that I change wallpapers more than socks. *shurgs* I even took a sitting and did a couple of them myself. Hopefully I'm not offending anyone's artistic eyes, 'cause I thought I'd upload them here... <img src="http://imag

I agree, I just got through about 50 icon packs to find me a nice set of icons. I downloaded about 20 of them and what I was left with, was just your cobalt, emerald and black sets I'd definetly pay for the black set a few dollars. At this mood that I'm in right now, I'd probably pay a lot for a icon set that would contain *lots* of file-type icons and the "My Music/Videos/Documents/stuffings" f

Hi, Most of you don't know, but there's a big community of Multi-Monitor users out here. But what we have, is a lack of good-looking wide-screen wallpapers. In fact, I can't remember even a single one. They are either ugly, or then just pictures of nature. (don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with them, but there could be some choice... ) So, is anyone willing to give it a try? Ther

Level 3: Object Desktop / Stardock customer / Elite User. These are users who have either purchased Object Desktop or some other Stardock product (Stardock is WinCustomize's sponser), or has Apprentice access or higher due to contributing to the site in other forms (making skins, being an active contributor to the message boards, etc.). These users get all the benefits of a registered user plus the ability to rate skins and can download an unlimited amount of content. emm.. how? Wh

Do you perhaps run WindowBlinds as well? I noticed that when an UIS2 skins is loaded, and the bar is on the top of the screen, all windows maximize *under* it. Only "workaround" I found was to use UIS1 skins... I asked around the stardock newsgroups/wincustomize forums and found that some other people had the same problems, we were ignored by stardock. No one even acknowledged that there indeed was any problem at all.

Optical Mouse. Threaten however you can, but I'm *NOT* going back to those mice with the hole in the middle, which undoublty attracts dirt and makes the user clean the damn thing at least twice a week to keep it working smoothly. No Ball - No Dirt. Multiple Monitors. hit me with a stick and call me crazy, but when one is used to be able to keep multiple windows open maximized (say, notepad, graphics application and a browser for preview for web development), or to quickly test somethin

"Change Your OS to 98 or 2000 its workin better with any applications" sorry, but that's a load of bull After I installed XP, I have a only about a ten BlueScreens, as where 98 wanted to show me those damned screen ten a day. NO WAY I'm going back. Also, I don't think that every user with XP does have that problem. Someone else would've complained earlier. And there is some way to get i

Ramsey has a point. If one has used a freeware app, say something called Painter-X (which could be pretty good) for more than two years. Then S/he'd get a job as an artist. Would he more probably choose some "photoshop" that he has but heard before, or the same freeware "Painter-X" (which might cost something to be used commerically) that he has used for years. I think that Microsoft actually _gained_ more money a few years back when they had the policy that users that used "Office" at

Agreed with the MP3-thing. People somehow don't treat mp3's as anything that could be "copyrighted". I admit that I, too, have downloaded a couple of MP3s, but mostly as a "try-out" feature. I'd download a couple of songs from a particular artist, and then if I like it, I go and buy the CD, If I don't. Well, DEL is a wonderful key Relevant thing, on the account of "what is piracy, and what is not".
