Hmmm....perhaps I'm misreading things but I think the solution to this problem is simpler than the above posters think: There's no option to colonize anywhere. You just select the colony ship, then right click on the planet you wish to colonize. When the ship gets there (which will probably take several turns) a new window should pop up giving you the chance to rena
I also cant tell what kind of planet it is, 1-10. make sure you have nothing selected and click the planet itself a new rectangular box should appear on the bottom interface and tell you all the stats of the planet..
and the game does not let me colonize any planet I would assume that he has tried to do this before random50 since he says it does not let him colonize..
Also, on a related note. Took over a planet and got SIngularity driver. I only had mass drivers. I was then able to equip all future designs with the upgrade This seems to me as the same thing You usually get the extra techs when you take a planet kind of as a gift for your effort or something...
I am just curious as to why it did not high-light after the trade Trades are not immediate unless they are building techs wait a turn then see what happens it did not show as that tech being researched/complet

Always use Beam weapons. Unless they're going fairly far up the shield tree. They're the best bang for the buck (cost and tech). With any hull size. Then this is the best route for you.. good luck bounty hunting lost worlds..
Ive got the new version 1.11 (I think) and the game does not let me colonize any planet. I also cant tell what kind of planet it is, 1-10. Ive never played to old version however I dont think Im missing anything. There is just NOTHING in the colony ship window or the planet that says ANYTHING about even the option to colonize, please help, thanks <b

I think that mass drivers are better since you get the nano ripper 8 on attack is just to much to pass up.. Then there is Missiles like Anti-Matter Torpedo the size is a little large but

You don't seem to know that the tech is there but you don't know how to use is or implement it yet this is why you research the preceding techs to reach that level of technology when you research impulse drive III and you see that the next tech is Warp II don't say I didn't tell you so..

Hey. Has anyone found any real good use for tiny hulled ships it seems like since they have hardly any hitpoints they are just alphabet soup compared to anything else.. Should i stack them with a ton of defense or a ton of attack.. hope you guys know this better than me..

Hey!!! smjjames this is what scouts are for scout out there planets and find out what they are using on there ships then use a weapon that this defense cannot block..espionage doesn't tell you what they have on there ships but scouts will..
