Amazing how much the "fear" strategy" developed and implemented by the Bush administration continues to brainwash a reported 50% or more Americans. If you really want to know what this is about, take a serious look at the 23 some odd companies the George W. Bush ran into the ground before he was Gov. of Texas, how and whom he always got bailed out by, and George W's and his fathers relationships with the Saudi's, in particular, the Bin Ladens, and al

I think it was a draw, no real substance on either side but Edwards doing exactly what he was supposed to do, not wilting in the face of the Rebulican spin machine, no more than Cheney appeared defensive in response to the Dem spin machine. Time will tell and the oil will keep on flowing. It's just going to get a lot more expensive, ( well... more than it already has). Amazing how hard it is to keep a grip on the bigger picuture with the m
Get some help dude, your delusional and I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you seriuos or is this just a scam to pull attention to yourself because your life is so worthlesss that you have to hide behind your computer, anonymous, and think this shit up. Very strange article from an obviously disturbed mind. No need to reply, I won't be reading your articles anymore.. wow!!
Ask youself if you feel any romantic or sexual chemistry at all with this person, and if you decide you don't and would have to work it at, would it be time better spent. This is just my opinion but if there isn't any chemistry, whatever that is for you because chemistry is that intangible, subjective association that gets you interested to begin with, then is it worth it? You have the advantage at this point of knowing what he looks like, and
Good for you CariElf. The hardest part of a begining a realtionship, (or ending one), sometimes is just putting it all out there and taking a risk. It's always diffucult if the feelings are one sided and it's really hard to not be depressed, at least for awhile anyway. I have read a number of your articles CariElf and you seem as if you have a lot to offer. So his loss, it's good to still have him as a friend but that's not what your really looking
I've been building my own and my wife and sons systems from the ground up for years now and always felt as if I had some control over how the computers performed and when something went wrong, I would usually know how to fix it becuse I built it and installed all the software and system tools. I think that customizing windows is just an extension of this and allows us much more control with how we interact with the tools on our systems. I also really
I'm not a huge fan of either canidate and think it's pretty sad that these two are the best that our country can produce. That being said, I think that in terms of debate, Kerry was clearly far more articulate and was much less defensive than Bush. Not to say that I believe or agree with everything Kerry had to say but he definately took control of the debate early and Bush was much more on the defensive than I have ever seen him. IMO, whoever get 's
Sounds like you have issues that are more serious than a few beers and a few million, (ya right), pork's will cure. Check with you doctor for symptoms of depression and if he counsels medication for pms, you fantasy has come true Good luck.
I live about 2 hrs away from Mt. St. Helens and thankfully the predictions are that the blast radius, if it in fact erupts, is 3 miles. Also, based on the current weather conditions, the wind will not carry any soot in our direction but the way it looks now it will get deposited in the Columbia River NE around the Dalles area. There is a live web cam site up that my wife was tracking earlier, sorry didn't get the link but it shouldn't be to
I would love to apply for the Sales position, I think Stardock is a company on the rise and have a tremendous product set with a lot of both conventional and unique market segments they can approach. I worked as Sales Manager for a company called NewTek, with a product called the Video Toaster for the Commodore Amiga (really aging myself now) and Stardock seems to have a lot of the same qualities of that company. That's a really good thing BTW <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles
I have the enhanced version, I think, through my OD subscription. I noticed in the description above that this version includes on the fly colorization. Where is that or where is info on how to use that feature? Thanks
Hi Ariadne and welcome to the JE Blog. My real name is Gary and I am fairly new to the blog. I am a partner in a tech company in NYC but I live in Oregon. I hope you find the experience as interesting as I have so far. Take care
I just realized how old these post are... ooops.. my bad.. probably not even reading this anymore. That's what I get for being new to the blog
See my post on the hmm.. The things I do post. Good for you!!!! Move on to better and be selective.
Hey doll, I have read several of your post. You seem very intelligent and also seem to have some common sense. Otherwise, why would you be questioning this "relationship" your in. Sounds like the effort is a one way street and your driving the bumper car. Get rid of this guy, let him grow up on his own time and find someone who really deserves you and wants to be with you and just you. You deserve to have someone who thinks with his brain and fee
Interesting thread. My wife and I have been married for 16 years now and have a beautiful, intelligent and thoughtful son. The best part of the marriage is that it seems as if we were married 2 weeks ago. I suppose I am one of the fortunate ones but believe me it's hard work to keep up with the evolution and changes in your partner and your children and still wake up every morning feeling good about it. There are down times but are far outweighed b
Good article. It's nice to see how TND was originated and where it's going. I purchased it the first day it came out and really like it but wanted the ability to either hide, move or re-size the weather gadget - all three of those options would be a definate plus . Hint...Hint It's great to see it's going in that direction because it is in the way, (my taskbar is on the to
Thanks for your reply CerebroJD but I want the leading 0 and I like having the seconds up on my clock. That doesn't fix the problem anyway. The fundemental issue here is that DesktopX is not saving it's own variables on objects and I would like to know if I have scripted something wrong or if this is a known bug. <img
I made a very simple digital clock object. It's actually two objects grouped, ie parent/child, Background object and digital clock object from the plug-in browser. My problem is that everytime I re-boot my machine or re-load this digital clock object it reverts back to 24 hr, (military), time instead of the way I set it up.. for a 12 hr clock. My format string is .. hh':'mm':'ss'' tt .. with a space after the colons after the seconds. As I said, all is fine unless I relaod the object or

I don't know if this is a bug but I have the same problem when I switch resolutions and every once in a while when I re-boot. It seem as if, at least on the re-bott part, that DesktopX forgets the screen position of certain objects sometimes. It also forgets what the state of an object is in, or saved as with multi-state objects with alpha trans such as some of the K-Tek stuff. It's not that big of a deal but it is kind of frustrating at times. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smil
I completely agree. This is by far the best site on the net in a number of ways and it is a small price to ask for that amount of downloads. I recently subscribed to Wincustomize and it is worth every penny. I used to contribute skins but recently I have been way to busy with family and work and have not had the time. Since I depend on Wincustomize in order to really take advantage of my OD subscription, it's a natural progression. You folks, the people at Stardock and all of the artist out
Ok.. Now I get how to change a widget Great article. Thanks!!
Great, just great Thanks for these videos.. very helpful.
I watched the video, twice, I thought it was great for what it's intent was nor did I hear any slurring at all. I don't understand people that complain or have a critique about someone trying to add a few little extra and nice services for their users, when they by no means are obligated to. Everyone's an expert . Comments like the one from Meta above are not constructive, just self-absorbed dr
