primarily to dynamaso: yes, i was thinking about this: for me fiction tells the truth more than biography, so this story is intensely, intensely biographical. i think if i tried to write a straightforward bio i could not, but this book is very, very true and my life is all through it. i look forward to sitting down with anyone and discussing everything that inspires this tale!
