I think that is the first thing that ever disappointed me about the internet. I heard about it (the internet) a long time before I ever met it. I imagined this place with ideas and thoughts flowing freely, a place where nothing else really mattered much. I haven't known the internet all that long. I guess I express my disappointment too forcefully there. In my site the communications I had wit

HEH... I wasn't meaning to seem I was reading more into it than there was there.... Half the time I worry I am not seeing half as much as there might be! I'm pretty hard to rile...

Na.... I think humans get gyped by separating things into masculine or feminine. I think someone skilled in anything is really awsome. I used to think that one really great thing about the internet was that people could just present with their minds and thoughts and avoid a lot of unfair bias. But everyone always wants to identify a/s/l. I really thought an ambiguous name would solve that, but as WOM pointed out... people are easily identifiable.

Other studies show that if you don't use it, you lose it. They reccomend that even elderly people should continue to learn new things. Some have recommended learning a new language. I don't know why they didn't recommend learning an instrument.

errr.... I have been looking in. I have no idea where to find all that information. But I have been looking at all the numbers and sizes and thinking "it's not the pen, it's the penmanship". So I guess you are right, maybe. I ended up thinking that I could have a big fancy computer with all the bells and whistles and still couldn't make it sing without more skill.

Someone said once that music is the voice of "God". One psych class I had claimed that that sort of (is the word here epiphany?) is essential to mental health. I can remember driving through the Rockies high on the scenery, I had a VW Thing and always kept the top down so it felt like flying. And listening to music (classical, pop) accomplished bliss.

I tried the gimp, and it is hard to use. I started out with these two... http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_imffw.html http://www.ultimatepaint.com/index.html Image Forge, and Ultimate Paint respectivly. Image forge only costs around $30 if you want to upgrade. I like it for the animations, and because the people are nice. I still use it over PSP sometimes. Ultimate Paint is OK. There used to be one called Satori... It looked real good, but I never could unde

Elvee? I tried and tried to be an artist, I wanted to be one since I was young. Then in high school I figured out that I just loved music too much to be in the band (you can't hear anything in there. Same thing with art. I kind of figure that it is important for some of us to be a great audience, as well! Else, why would we love it so? So while you are busy making your skin (and I am looking forward to it!), know also that wholehearted appreciation and feedback is contributing!

Hey Motion... Indigo was the first one that I tried out on my new monitor. I love it! It's funny about Jazz. You can find a lot of really nice midis (big name people, too) online for free! And most of them sound higher quality than other midis. You can download a couple of hours worth in no time (or space), they are incredibly small. I have not met a lot of other people that like to listen to that. I don't know why it is like that... so available, and good, and free. You should

I am trained and experienced in the medical field. I have been trying to force myself to go back but thinking about going back to the Emergency Department feels like going to war. I still can feel the broken ribs of the last lady I gave CPR to, see the light go out in her eyes. I never could get over being squeemish over body fluids, I can feel the exact temperature of a rather large bag of stuff the doctor handed me once (and see his surprise at my reaction). I will probably go wash my hand

Gender identity check! If you thought goodmorphing was male, then the name has served its purpose well. Like the early authors changed their gender identified female names to male, I have sought to find ambigious

heh... I know WOM. I understand I missed the band-wagon on that one, just always the wrong bandwagons came my way. Who knows what life will bring? One thing for sure, any new bandwagons must have their own of everything! I don't wanna share my toys!

Thanks, bakerstreet. This is a brand new monitor. Dropping the color depth for a doublecheck seems like a good, simple idea. The piece that looked so bad was a small gif on a black background, only with my new monitor I could see the blackground was some shade of black. It looked very amature. In fact, with the new monitor, I am seeing a lot of detail that I never saw before.

Yikes.... the ideas of group hugs and marriage all tied together in one thread kind of makes me nervous! 'sides, I don't want to share my newfound freedom (or my new computer). Mine, MINE!

WOM makes wisdom. He makes comments so everyone can grow. He makes warm feelings. He makes a sense of community. He makes me feel welcome. He makes me happy.... much more, should I go on?
