When you install Win7, it will show a screen when you boot up to select an OS. I have XP, Vista 64, and Win 7 64. If you install XP after having Vista installed, it usually screws up the booting and will only boot up XP. You will need to put your Vista disc back in and have it repair boot options...easy to do, it gives you that option and you'll be all set. :)

Move whatever you want to keep from the D drive to the C Drive or a DVD or flash drive and install W7 on the D Drive. Then move it back if you want to. After you install W7, when you boot up you will get a screen where you can choose Vista or Win7. Simple enough? [e digicons][/e]

The same thing occurs with the free My Colors and My Colors Suites on Windows 7. I would have liked to download the suites, rename them to .zip, and use the individual skins. But Impulse won't let me download because they are incompatible with Win 7. Fortunately, I dual boot with Vista also, so I downloaded them from Vista and transferred the skins to my Win 7 partition where they work fine. A bit of a hassle, but it works.

If your My Colors theme is in .theme format, you can rename it to .zip, unzip it and put the WB, Icon Package and anything else in their respective folders.:)

You can create it as a logonui.exe, but then they would have to go into Windows/System32, make a backup of logonui.exe and replace it with yours. And then do the reverse to change it back to Windows standard logon. Hardly worth it...
