It already does. :)
When you install Win7, it will show a screen when you boot up to select an OS. I have XP, Vista 64, and Win 7 64. If you install XP after having Vista installed, it usually screws up the booting and will only boot up XP. You will need to put your Vista disc back in and have it repair boot options...easy to do, it gives you that option and you'll be all set. :)
 @ scruf! Welcome home Mrs S. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
My guess is that even if you ccould uninstall IE8, it wouldn't be a good idea because it's so much a part of the OS. I'd just install IE7 and use that instead. :)
Congrats to all!! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
I expect you back here bright and early Tuesday morning...no excuses. And think how much better you'll feel. :)
Move whatever you want to keep from the D drive to the C Drive or a DVD or flash drive and install W7 on the D Drive. Then move it back if you want to. After you install W7, when you boot up you will get a screen where you can choose Vista or Win7. Simple enough? [e digicons][/e]
Those are great!! You got me hooked. [e digicons][/e]
The same thing occurs with the free My Colors and My Colors Suites on Windows 7. I would have liked to download the suites, rename them to .zip, and use the individual skins. But Impulse won't let me download because they are incompatible with Win 7. Fortunately, I dual boot with Vista also, so I downloaded them from Vista and transferred the skins to my Win 7 partition where they work fine. A bit of a hassle, but it works.
Really nice choices, and thanks! [e digicons][/e]
If your My Colors theme is in .theme format, you can rename it to .zip, unzip it and put the WB, Icon Package and anything else in their respective folders.:)
You can create it as a logonui.exe, but then they would have to go into Windows/System32, make a backup of logonui.exe and replace it with yours. And then do the reverse to change it back to Windows standard logon. Hardly worth it...
It seems there were more skins in Subscriber Resources. I know I got the Razer WB there, not showing now. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
In the upper right of Impulse click teh "Install all Updates" button.
The only problem I've noticed with that is if I only have one update, it doesn't show the "Install all Updates" button.
objectdock confg > general tab > misc options - - check 'when a shortcut is ran, if the program is already running...'
That worked great for me on Win 7! :)
Looks like a winner, get moving! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:D[/e]
It says upgrade and I paid $49.00 but sometimes, I heard that upgrade discs will allow a full install. I don't know, so I figure someone here will.
Check my link in #29 :)
Well done everyone! :) [e digicons][/e]
Windows 7 Upgrade Details for XP and Vista Users - Upgrading - Lifehacker
For the upgrade all you need is to have Vista or XP installed somewhere on your computer and then it will allow a clean install I believe.
WD-40 and ducttape?? [e digicons]o_O[/e]
What OS are you using? You "believe" it's the trial version? Where did you get it? What build of IP is it?
