Philly0381reply 3It would appear that Tiles is a program or function of it's own now rather than a replacement for the Windows Taskbar when it first came out. I say this because the time and date and system tray options have been dropped. Would this be a correct analysis?EDIT: It would also appear the option to use the WBs skin on Tiles is gone, why? If you ask me dropping these three options is not a step in the right direction, especially using
https://www.wincustomize.com/article/412652/ Make sure you uninstall Windowblinds 7.2 first. I did mine through add/remove programs in control panel, reboot then install WB7.3, reboot again and the link up top is for some killer WB's for Halloween. Welcome to the WC scripttron75 Dang Wizards ... always get the drop on stuff. Hi Wiz...lol
I didn't do that at all. I simply installed 7.3 overtop of the last beta and rebooted. Worked just fine.
Definitely the Masters of their domain! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Yep, things are looking pretty hot out there From time to time I see a comment on a skin from someone saying they "can't" use it because it's a Win7 theme. A lot of times the Win7 themes work pretty well on XP (and look great) as long as a person doesn't obsess about the few oddities. So, shy XP users, go ahead and give them a whirl, there's always delete I find the WindowBlinds 7 skins work perfectly well on my V
I haven't noticed any problems with this, myself.
Okay Neil, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure what was going on there! [e digicons]B)[/e]
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem but I seem to be missing a very important command option in WindowBlinds 7.01 and that's the option to Apply Wallpaper If Included In Skin and now I have to manually apply my wallpap
An embarrassment of riches--and I mean that in the "good" way! One doesn't know where to begin! :CONGRAT:

Looking good! Luv that smart indigo! :HOT:
Reaper- Do you have "Show pre-release versions" checked in Impulse? (Click on "the orb", then the 1st item in popup menu.)
Thanks, Dave. That did the trick! I wasn't sure which way to turn on that "show pre-releases". Didn't realize the orb was anything more than decoration!
Guys, I can't even seem to get the new Deskscapes program. It doesn't show up in Impulse and I've tried several times since I read the news here about the new Deskscapes Beta to download it. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium and the older version of Deskscapes works just fine, but no offer to upgrade to the new version. :(
Just off the top of my head, is UAC enabled? (User account control) If it is, it can inhibit many functions. I might be off the mark, but it's where I'd start looking. If it's turned on, turn it off, reboot and then see what happens.
Doc, you were absolutely right! It seemed so simple that I actually didn't try it until now. I'd been corresponding back and forth between Stardock Technica
Okay, Doc, I'll give that a go. Thanks.
There has been a recent problem for me with DesktopX widgets. I am using Windows Vista SP1 OS, it was working perfectly before but now every time I try to load a widget, I first get the stupid Vista securtiy crap asking me for permission to run it and then if I try loading a second widget DesktopX will not respond, period. No error message, no Windows asking for permission message, nothing. This all started the other
That's strange, as I got an email from Stardock about it/started Impulse-told me Impulse had an update-and did the update but it never showed up in the updates ?
I have the same problem. Just ran Impulse, it found an update for itself and upon reloading - nothing new to offer!
I always enjoy getting new WindowBlinds! :) By far my favorite program of the Object Desktop suite. I don't know if anyone else has had this experience, but for me every time I get a new WindowBlinds update, there are a few skins--always the same few skins--that I have to manually tweak the .UIS settings for, because the new WindowBlinds update will always forget or simply overwrite the .UIS files belonging to these skins. The usual culprits in question are "Aero Executive", "Aero Metal", "Diamond", "Leo", "Dragon", and "Pirate" all by Stardock Design, which have to have their .UIS file
Bout time The AVMan be given some props! In fact, with his very unique gift for skinning WindowBlinds, I'd say it's about time for a promotion to Master! Or at least Pro Consul of Rome! :CONGRAT: :D

It came up with the following error message: @##!#$@!% ... :) Actually, scratch that. I tried again and got it to re-install with no problems! ;p I'll have to give it a try before I come up with a firm opinion.
Hello, everyone. Happy New Year to youse all! Here's a list of some of the problems I've been experiencing since purchasing a new computer within the last few weeks. I've always used Windows XP with all my Stardock products and usually don't have any problems to worry about. But that computer was getting somewhat long in the tooth and it was really time to get a new rig. So, the one I bought was a very
