Turn based strategy games like this have never done well on consoles. They are generally just to complicated to control comfortably on a console controler. Also, as far as I know Stardock has never had anything to do with consoles.

From what ive read on the forum i think most of us are in agreement that the current magic system is broken as far as essence is concerned. So I've given it some thought and here a few ideas i came up with. As it is now essence is the most valuable resource in the game. I think it should stay that way, as it is what makes your sovereign unique. Others have said that we should be able to regenerate it in some way and i agree. One idea that ive had is to tie essence regen

I like the new system of limiting the food supply, but i would like to see more various types of buildings for better specialization. So far with 2-a i have yet to fight a real war due to crashing about 150 - 200 turns into the game. I havent read all of the forums so sorry if this has already been adressed, but what happened to the ore?

Ive been trying to do this for a few days now. Ive followed the instructions to activate by email from my comp that has net access but haven't gotten a response yet, either by email or on this post. If I had known it would be this much of a pain in the neck to activate without the net I would have bought the game from the store. yes please help

I have no problem copying, tinplanted, you just save the tutorials or multimedia on a separate disk the problem i am haveing is activating the game once it is intsalled on a computer that has no net connection. other posts say you need a special code, I got a different code by email from [email protected] but the program still says i cant activate because sdc cant access the net <

I like the idea of a galactic plague, one that hits races with aphrodesiac is to specific, although it is a funny idea( STDs on a galactic scale, so much for the drug inspired interstellar free love movement) I think good galactic events can add a lot of randomness to the game, an option to turn them on/off and control how often they happen would be good though. Intergalactic drug problems, your right Ugleb that could be interesting, how about the intergalactic war on drugs

It amazes me how emotional people can get about these games. That's what they are games, I enjoy them and are occassionally disipointed in them just as much as the next guy, but in the end, these are just games. PS I know I can't spell, this is just a message board

Im fairly new here and this is my first post I'd like to hear a few cool galactic events and thier consequences that anyone has thought up. I think some cool events could add a lot to the game so throw out some ideas. Heres a few of mine. Super Virus A teenage supergeek of (Random Race not Yor Collective), in an attempt to damage Vibrosoft, the Galaxies leading software creator, accidently unleashes a supervirus that spreads throughout the galaxy, damaging and disabling billions of crit

I like the idea of keeping the older technology an option. It might come in handy to build a few dirt cheep ships latter in the game just as a distraction, maybe just to force the enemy to split its forces. Anything that you can do to force the enemy to react to you rather than you react to it is good.

I agree, I never was much of the brute force build a big army right away and crush everything type of commander. I like distractions and sneaky stuff. Sure it looks like my fleet is just sitting there, but my real invisible fleet is about to invade your major ship producing planet. please give cloaking technology
