I do not take the bible as 100% the word of God. It's man's interpretation of the word of God, and it can be manipulated. People can read one scripture to mean many different things, who know what God really meant by it, and who knows if the people who wrote the bible got it right from God? I think the bible has a lot of good ideas about how we should live our lives, but it's hard for me to believe that everything in the bible is straight from God.
just for you.... I have heard how Christians long ago Were brought before a tyrant's throne And they were told that he would spare their lives If they would renounce the name of Christ But one by one they chose to die The Son of God they would not deny Like a great angelic choir sings I can almost hear their voices ring I pledge allegiance to the Lamb With all my strength With all I am <BR
So I think you and I need to put our heads together and come up with a REALLY GOOD article topic I can write about so a lot of people will comment on it so we can go back to being twins....I miss you!
aww that is so sweet, I love guys who keep doing cute things like that, even after you've been together for a while (or in your case married )
Aww! You're kids are so cute! It looks like you guys have a great time.
hahaha that first sign is great, but you think someone would have noticed that maybe there was an error somewhere? Oh people....
Woo! Looking good there girl! Way to go, that is one part of pregnancy that I am NOT looking forward to lol
you women!! you suck {thank GOD}\ ...I don't know what you're mad at, but that made me crack up.
I must be weird then....I LOVE books and I always have. I learned to read when I was about 4 (that's when I was put into kindergarten) and by the end of first grade I'd read all the little house on the prairie books. I LOVE Shakespeare, I took a whole class on hom in high school. Twelfth night is amazing, and I was one of the obnoxious kids in the class who actually understood what was going on in the story. I have books all over my house, and I'm currently reading three books at the same ti
Even though your paper is done, I'm a HUGE HP kid (book 7 has been reserved since January) so I wanted to throw my two cents in about one particular topic. Tolerance of People who are different as well as The Danger of Desire, in the case of Sirius and his family. Black's family is the epitome of 'pure-blood' discrimination, with the painting of Sirius's mother going crazy at traitors and mud bloods in her house and the family tree tapestry with names burned out of it for examples. Sirius want
it cost me $50.00 to fill up my tank, and I drive a very gas friendly honda. I remember about 2 years ago it cost me $20.00 every week and a half...and I thought THAT was expensive. The highest I've seen it has bee $3.49.....I got lucky and filled up for $3.09 the other day though...woo!
I know exactly what you mean...I hate this pop Christian 'lord I life your name on high' stuff. Most of it is just so cheesy. I think what kills me are the lyrics. We sing a lot of those songs for my church choir, but the music isn't so bad, but when you're singing the word "I pledge allegiance to the lamb" it's hard to take the music seriously.
Using the maggot analogy, why did God make us disgusting maggoty beings in the first place? And make us imperfect? (subject to temptation and disobedient.) It's us humans in our imperfections that show how god is not all powerful, because if he is also all loving, why would he want us to be anything les
sorry double post
I really liked this, you put a lot of questions that I've been thinking about. But why did he have to die so that us and God would be even? It would have been easier/better/nicer/more forgiving if He would just said ‘Hey, we’re even’ without having to kill his Son (and seemingly use it to throw in our face for the rest of eternity). That's been my biggest problem with all of this too. If God is all powerful, why not just forgive u
yay college! haha I have such a love hate relationship with school. Summer will be a nice break, but you'll be so ready to go back come fall.
Oh wow this is just fantastic! I really loved it. I can spend hours at the library, and my room is just overflowing with books. Great job.
I read something like this but it was what to do during a final that doesn't matter....lol. I'll see if I can find it and post it.
. Reply By: foreverserenityPosted: Sunday, June 03, 2007Hmmm, Amanda likes you...nice I LOVE THIS KID. Koontz, you are amazing, I hope you put up more than just your religion essay, cuz you are an interesting person to say the least.
YOU'RE HERE YOU'RE HERE YOU'RE HERE!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED! YAY!!!!
I was not an avid watcher of the show (I'm not a real watcher of any show, no time) but the episodes I did watch I really enjoyed. I liked the fast paced banter between mom and daughter, that's what set it apart to me. And I think Alexis Bledel is smokin hott, just to throw my two cents into the boy talk.
I never understood the boycott for one day idea. I like that people are trying, but it's pretty worthless. A ton of people asked me to join in, but I was like.....no.....
But on a serious note, I saw on the news that there might be a storm brewing, so hopefully it will come and put some of the fires out. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
lol nice barney tangent guys. Weren't we originally discussing fires in Florida? haha this is why I like JU.
