Guys buy suits and girls get prom like gowns that cost alot. It has gotten quite out of hand. The girls get manicures and their hair and makeup done. Why? I get getting dressed up, but to that extent? That doesn't make sense at all. They still have 4 years of school to get through!

Both my older brother AND my first husband used to be proud of their creations, so proud, in fact, that they would often call you in there to see. "it's big - like a dinosaur". </
I went to a little private pre-k day care type thing for kindergarten because my mom worked there. We had a "graduation" ceremony, but it was a lot of fun because we made caps in arts and crafts time and we got a little diploma saying we were done with kindergarten, and I think it was that way because after kindergarten, we were done at that school. My public school was elementary k-4, middle 5-8, and high school 9-12. I remember having an
Cute article, sounds like you've been fairly lucky when it comes to physical ailments. I wish I never got colds And I don't think I'd want to live with four girls either...
hey i just noticed something fun. we both started our blogs on 12/2/05 and you ranked #193 and i'm #194. We're twins!
you know, i thought about doing the exact same thing, maybe I will now that I see that I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing, yours and LW's post are both fun to read.
I love the following: 1. Garden State 2. Hero 3. Mulan 4. Roman Holiday 5. Rent they're a little bit of everything, funny chick flicky drama, crazy kung fu action, disney cartoon, an old romantic, and musical. I love it all!
This is very sweet. I saw amanda in the title and thought I would read it. Nice job.
Sounds like you're doing the right thing. Get other resume's out and see if you can find somthing better. Don't quit until then, because then you'd be unemployed and any job is bettter than that, in my opinion.
My brother has a similar problem, but for him it was only at night. It was happening almost every night up through middle school. He's 17 now, and it very rarely happens now. He has had development issues since he was born. They thought he had ADD or ADHD and put him on just about every drug ever created, and nothing helped. Eventually they decided he had a brain chemical deficiency and with this particular instance there is not drug to take. Sin
wonderful blog. Your user name 'forever serenity' comes through with flying colors here. I hope at the end of the day everyone who posts here can realize that what you've written is the best mindset to come in here with.
Buddah, I have decided that I have to be careful where I read your work, because so often your ability with words moves me to tears. This is yet again a lovely, if sad, piece.
and my sinful pick, Halloween! I love scary movies, but they don't make good ones anymore. All they can do nowadays is bad remakes of classics. Movies today are as a whole worse than older ones. Except for a few, like Garden State (my favourite movie of all time).
That is a cool way of describing it. It is little things like this that make me excited to have a child of my own some day. "before too long I'm going to have to lug it around in my arms, an unweildy carrier, a stroller, strapped to my chest in a papoose...it will be another piece of baggage that relentlessly screams for more food and a clean tush." And it's things like this that make me never want to have kids ever in my life <img
I'm a pretty daring person, i'll jump off of stuff, climb stuff, eat stuff, run around in the dark, get up in front of people, go in small spaces, go in large spaces, whatever. Most things don't phase me, but I have this crazy fear of grasshoppers. I can't stand them, I don't know why, but they creep me out. I will run away if I see one, I won't walk outside in long grass during August and September. I hate them!
that's fantastic! definately one of the best horror stories i've read. I was in brownies too, but then, I'm a girl so it's ok.
I like I'm out like a fat kid in dodge ball.
But for the price of a dollar menu double cheeseburger and a large soda, I can put together enough turkey sandwiches to feed my entire family...and I can cook up a pot of beans big enough to have leftovers. Really? I didn't know that. Interesting. Well for that matter, maybe the poorer fat kids don't
lol what play were you in? I was a dead body in arsenic and old lace, and like Dr. Guy, I didn't get kicked either. That must have been reserved for just you.
Oh my gosh! I was cracking up hardcore, thanks for sharing!
I think that one of the reasons poorer kids are larger is because fast foods like McDonald's are cheaper than healthier foods. Americans as a whole do not eat enough healthy foods, and the processed foods tend to be cheaper and you don't need a lot of time or resources to prepare a lot of them. The poor are typically de
My favourite old movies are Singing in the Rain, Roman Holiday, and The Seven Year Itch. Granted, I was not alive when these movies were made, but that does not mean that I won't watch them anywhere, at anytime of the day.
How wonderful, congratulations! For a girl, I love Virginia Christine. Virginia was a girl I met in high school who became one of my best friends, and I loved her name, I thought it was beautiful. Christine is from Phantom of the Opera, because I'm a big nerd and I love that musical with all of my heart. For a boy I would pick Gene Andrew. Gene after the great Gene Kelly (my Idol!) and Andrew for the most kick ass person in the world, Sir
Stunning photos. You're dress was AMAZING!!! Congrats!
I know what you mean. I'm a fan of Wendy's, and I was confused the first time I ate there after the change. The small is the old medium now. *Sigh* America's getting so fat. I'm the opposite, I want smaller sizes, I can't eat all of that food!
