Yep. Just figured out the content margins. I wish there were a way to set the text, and possibly the buttons to be over the reflection so it doesn't take away from the usability of the skin.

If someone could do it, I think a 3D skin could be neat! I tend to stick with photoshop. It can make some pretty three dimensional things if you know how to use it right! I made this media skin all in photoshop, but it looks pretty 3d.

Reflection map? in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

First off, WB just gets better and better the more I find out! I just started toying with the reflection map feature. The problem I'm running into is that since my perpixel windows have a drop shadow, the reflection map extends to the end of the shadow which doesn't look right. Any way to correct this?

WB crash in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

So I'm making a WB skin, and all is going well until I skinned the up/down arrows of the special pane. It looked good in skin studio so I applied it, and the whole explorer bar thing wouldn't show up. I re-applied the skin and my computer crashed! any ideas wha is causing this?

I have a WB thats about 80% done... and I need a wallpaper to go with it. I need something to go with a skin that is predominatly black, with accents of reddish orange. I poked around through the walls and didnt see anything. Can anyone think of a wall that would work? If not, no worries. Thanks

Ok. Yeah I was pretty much trying to mix oil and water... I was taking the best things I like from vista and from macs and putting them together in a skin. I like how macs are pretty much borderless except for the shadow, it makes things more efficent for me, and the rolly-uppy is nice. But vista looks so darn good! PS- when i right click my title bar, there is no option for roll up and I'm running WB5 full version.

Hey I've got a few questions for you veteran skinners here.. First off, I'd like to add a rollup button to a skin. It's a pretty easy task most of the time, but I'm working with a transparent skin, and I can't figure out how to add buttons to transparent windows. Thanks for the repy! I opened a PSD with my translucent window borders, and no background, and I cut the top frame of the window. However, the transparent and translucent buttons are disabled! Is there a way to edit the code manually to add transparency? I tried inserting perpixel=1 and trans=1, but it says it doesn't recognize it. Heres a screenshot... Screenshot

I juuuust purchased WB5, and the skins look super, and it make me want to make one with transparency, and shadows and such. I can't figure out how to make it work! I am running the free skinstudio... please tell me that's not the problem. If anyone could help out, I'd appriciate it!

I want to try WB5, especially since my version of Wb is becoming buggy but I dont have the money to purchase it. I noticed the free version said something about it won't skin scrollbars and you can't change colors. Is this true? My old version of free WB allows these.

I'm having the same problem!!! The sidebar in the "My Documents" window defaults to windows classic, and WB doesnt go to systray.
