Right that too. Soo... back to the original ? How do I obtain those cool animated Smileys?
BigDogBigFeet
Ummmm. I fired up Firefox and the web page I was taken to is about Credit Card theft.
..... All those cool smileys. I mean the extra ones that animate.
I thought I should post a progress update on this, in case anyone is interested. I at first couldn't get Firefox to work properly. It wouldn't log into my earthlink web mail. Earthlink kept saying it was not a supported domain. I then tried IE 7 Beta 3 and it worked. I also noticed that the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal tool was applied during the install and what do you know a number of system hickups and problems have cleared up. Firefox now works, although I am liking IE 7. I am
oakie doakie I'll giveem a whirl.
I have the same problem. Everytime I shutdown when I restart my font size changes have all been changed back. There might be a default setting in WB for using custom settings instead of the Blind settings. I'm willing to wait till the pros respond on this. Good question though.
The trial started in June of 2006. That is when I allowed it to connect with Microsoft.Com and start my trial. The 60 day trial ends on July 31, 2006 just for clarification there hm. In any case I have downloaded Open Office and it has successfully installed. My next step is to do something about the biggest headache and that's a replacement for Outlook and possibly Outlook Express. As I stated Outlook doesn't work at all on my machine. Outlook express does. I am wondering if there is a g
And, by the way thanks all. Did you notice my new Avatar? Sleeping Dragon made it. And just for clarification this MS Office 2003 trial software came installed with my PC.
The trial hasn't expired, yet. I called it the trial from hell. The problems with defaults being hijacked have been on-going since I purchased this PC new in 11/2005. I started the 60 day trail at the beginning of June 2006. My belief is there is some kind of software installed on here so the novice user will invariably auto trigger Microsoft Word and/or Outlook to try and install and work. This has also happened occasionally with Excel as well. In any case, I should probably contact HP an
Hey Jafo my post is trying to relay the following. After this 60 day tial software kept insisting on starting, after everytime I tried to open a text document and Microsoft Word (which wasn't officially installed yet would try to run) I finally gave up and started the 60 day trial from hell. Basically the problem I have been having is MS Outlook doesn't work on my machine. Ms Outlook for some strange reason keeps being put back as my default e-mail program. Believe me I can't tell you how ma
I will try to give a brief background. I have an HP Pavillion Media Center PC. Overall its been pretty good. It came with a 60 day trial of MS Office 2003. And what an ordeal its been. First of all its a home PC and my use of any Office 2003 products here at home just isn't there. So, for along time I would decline starting the 60 day trial. It would periodically insist on trying to start anyway. In other words in doesn't ask it insists. If I try to set the default document processor I
Hi all, I'm not able to use graphics software well. I only have a novice understanding of things like VB script and no possiblity of creating a blind. But, I appreciate having been involved in things around here and would like to ask: Would someone be willing to make me an Avatar?
Here's the Link: https://forums.wincustomize.com/?forumid=168&aid=124051#960586
DesktopX.
Yes, with a script. I haven't tried it myself but, based on a previous post I read around here it is doable. I will look for the link.
Having a little problem with VB script. I've checked two sources fo VB script samples and no luck (including MS VB script reference) The code is: ("Sub Object_OnScriptEnter Set filesys = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Set drv = filesys.GetDrive("C:") Set MyDrivestate = drv.IsReady Object.SetTimer 12345, 500 End Sub Sub Object_OnTimer12345 If MyDrivestate Then Object.State = "Ready" Else Object.State = "Busy
Hi Carl[242] bump.
Hi Janise, I'll try. If you have the purchased version of WB5 then its straight forward. Download the WindowBlinds of your choice and simply click on the downloaded file when done and it will self load. The same is true of the complete theme packages just download them, click on them when done (or select run from the download dialogue box) and the Theme Manager will automatically load your downloaded theme. If you have the freeware trail version of WB then you get the blinds it comes with.
bump. I'm shameless.
I hear ya, but I've tried similar stuff before and no its not a big drain on the CPU. If you poll once every 1/2 sec. or even 1/4 second, the cpu barely flinches. Besides the method I mention allows you to create an object that is a small green light when available and a small red light when active. You can create a Disk Icon with a small green light and when disc activity occurs it changes to red. How many analogue clocks can you place on your desktop at one time 3, 4 its no problem. All th
By the way the above mentioned quote can be found by selecting Object Desktop from the left sidebar and highlighting WindowBlinds 5 [Beta] and reading the description.
Hey Roman. The answer is maybe. There is a Procedure in VB as follows: The Drive object provides access to the various properties of the local or remote disk drive. The following code uses the GetDrive method of the FileSystemObject object to get the Drive object for drive "c". Code: "Set filesys = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Set drv = filesys.GetDrive("c") Set Drivestate = drv.object.IsReady Look at the IsRe
Sounds great Fairyy~. I was thinking of getting the Ashton Kuetcher blind for myself. But, before we go there, perhaps you should consider purchasing my two new WB 5 plugins Window Shutters and Window Curtains both for just $29.95 per month for the next 48 months. And, don't forget to sign the pre-nup. Please read the fine print certain exclusions and restrictions will apply, the license agreement is written in microdot fractal so.. Good Luck.
I said I told on myself. Thx Tucys.
If I remember right he brought Bill Gates his paper and coffee in the morning. Obviously, somebody skinned my post. I've never fumble fingered the keyboard even once in my life. Besides I already told on myself. And, oh ya, thx Jaffo. All tidied up then.
