Quoting Roloccolor, reply 15However i did not find a article that lead to Norton2003 that blamed Norton only for it... i did find the error code 0x8024001E for it in combination to a service pack install most of the refered times... Oh I'm sure Norton went out of its way to bury its balls-up. Keep searching...you'll find it. I have no interest in wasting time with Norton. I dumped almost a year&#
Quoting Roloccolor, reply 12if im correct the only way to resolve this would be via CD/HDdisk... Yes, because without BITS you cannot DL the packs from MS ...so if you do not have an alternate means to get them...or don't have the disks it means a re-install of Windows from the ground up. It is the sort of quaint 'mistake' that guarantees you will forever be leery of ever using a product from t
Quoting Roloccolor, reply 7if the file doesnt have a signiature of its [origin]* All of our installers are digitally signed using valid certificates signed by trusted root CAs, same as is used for SSL/TLS.
Mhh that is strange since it was not for Fences as you can see in the OT-screenshot (yellow box says that the program is known has many users and is reliable ) (red box underneath
Now...in the ONLY defense you will hear for Norton.... their more recent products are better. They HAD to be, because their old stuff was pretty ordinary. Whan an AV can kill Windows' BITS service rendering you unable to effect repairs...and you had 2 options.... a lengthy several-page step by step process of cmd line fixes and registry alterations or ...IF YOU HAD IT run a re-install of SP2 via disk ....remembering of course to also do
RND do you get the old startmenu if you click on it or just the w8 Start interface would be interesting to know since i havent installed the preview yet. Ty in advance

I expected to not gain a comment on this... But i had to make clear that the most comments in the SD support threat must have been directed at 2012 products or below. The scareware software that DOC pointed to was from 2011 and a standalone free product, I respect DOC highly since he has actually knowledge about what he writes. And even he agreed that Nortn has improved lately As already mentioned i was never speaking about 2012 or below products from Symantec I
I believe he resolved this issue over a month ago Rolocolor.
i know still the link to the Asus webpage might come in handy for him if no software was delivered with the monitor. Also the checklist below might serve others that want to make future purchases.
I don’t want to crush in like a wild animal here but an IPS-Panel monitor for under 200USD or better said 140USD surely has pros and cons. Asus is one of the leading company’s in this field did you check their site for software? Did you buy that monitor on second hand ? Software is normally included ! Just like the cable unless it has presets and is plug and play no further software is required. Also The Model name isn’t complete or the M

Kona they already announced changes to that on the E3 But here is the catch- what most people dont understand is that DRM-prot is up to a publisher Sony said 1st party publishers/Studios will be releasing DRM free products - so for example games from FIRST PARTY STUDIO/ like Naughty Dog that is owned by Sony Entertainment will be DRM free. But publishers like EA or Studios like Crytec can choose if they want DRM or not that includ
the preview can be found here sorry i added the buy page - that was my mistake... http://www.ohmyicons.com/previews/nefertiti/ip_nefertiti/index.html will add the link into the OT I would also suggest a lower price but that decision isn’t mine to take - it’s the same as with the Atomic Alarm Clock introduced here some weeks ago. A lower price brings in more folks s
I got an email today and checked out the new ip from Dario - iam a big fan of his work and have been over the years... But this package tops everything from him so far in my eyes. The amazing thing is that Dario still keeps improving and this pack shows it. Speaking of the pack before i keep writing i want you guys to take a look at it the preview can be found here sorry i added the buy page - that was my mistake... <a href="http://www.ohmyicons.com/previe

So i just downloaded the beta again... and took a look at insight :
OK so after Neil wrote : This is not pointed at you Neil just pick the quote as entry point. Quoting Neil Banfield, reply 9 If the file is signed then the right approach would be to simply inform the user that they do not know much about this software, but it is signed by XXXXX and perhaps link this back to the server info which would know that many apps signed by XXXX have been found
Jafo the only station i ever head was a ps2 and that i bought used but since i dont to spend a fortune on a gaming pc like i dod over the past years i consider getting a console... My PC is worth more than a small car and it become addicting to keep up to play games on ULTRA i think 500 USD is not that bad... since these stations will be on the market for the next 3-4 years. ( the console station you got there in your screenshot is timeless and well worth
Neil i was still in editing forgive me im not that fast...take another look But Norton does not scare cutomers of from SD or others or wants them to stay away from you guys, if a file is brand new and barely anone has it - it gives you a fair warning and isolates the file as potential thread... i dont see nothing wrong about that. like i wrote that can be solved if you trust in a prog - just mark it as ok and restore it. But if you have it set to manual update - of course you
