Ah, i missed that post, thanx. That would probably work for me as well as i too have a swedish Win XP. Unfortunally the non-ascii chars are in the path (/lokala inställningar/) and not in the user name, so i cant just create a new account. And mucking about in the registry and changing default windows folders just to play a beta seems like overkill. I'll just wait untill a patch comes out. Demigod locks up in Demigod Stardock Forums

I keep having the same error everytime i try to launch Demigod. Everything works fine until the map is loaded. As soon as i move the mouse, the animations freezes up. As long as i dont move the mouse nothing happens, but all i see is the map, moving fog and no units. I've tried reinstalling it, and i have tried changing the graphics settings, but i get the same error anyway. Dxdiag: ------------------ System Information

As i understand it you can reinstall it on the same computer how many times you want. But you need to call EA when you want to install it on the fourth different computer. As long as the 3 computer limit will be removed after some time I’m fine with it. I’d hate to discover I’m out of installs and try to find a phone number somewhere on the internet in five years when i decide i want another run of Mass Effect.
