I got into skinning because, lets face it, the last thing I wanna see when I get home is the same ol' set up I been working on with students and in my office all day. my ObjectDock stuff usually takes the full five days...but hey! it's in the contract...greatness takes time!
students will have it on their own PCs, and I'll have to upgrade the lab as soon as possible...currently the stand alone, non-networked PC in my office, and a couple in the system office are the only ones with (pre-release)vista on them in the building. But in order to keep up with demand, I'll have to be teaching the OS by at least March. On a personal note (and my personal computer)...I'm thinking about going back to DOS...
Personal page keeps doing different stuff...like yesterday (see above) got the "Create Your Personal Site" button (which I all ready had) and when I clicked on it I got the preferences for my site that was supposed to be there (and had been for a year) ...then today, when I click on my "site" link...get a message wanting me to create my stardock account...I mean, I can still submit and all, just can't get to my site.
