if you cannot find what you are looking for with tweak vista and 7 then i found this article that might help you. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-shortcut-icon-arrow-overlay-in-windows-vista/ don't know if it will work with windows 7 but as vista and 7 are similar then it might. good luck :)

Just tried to submit a screenshot to the gallery, But when the file upload page opens and you click to select a gallery there is nothing in the list except, select gallery. Is there anyone out there with a link to the old upload section as that one usually works when the new one falls on it's ass. Thanks in advance :)
i got a brand new HD 3650 512Mb AGP card from ebay, it cost me $55. It's well worth having a look there. Good luck
great update. I am still getting the same problem with some skins not loading in the new interface, they are giving me the there is no .uis file are you sure it is a windowblinds skin. Again loading the old WB6 interface and the skins load perfectly.
very impressive, sign me up if you ever need another tester as well :)
Rename it from .suite to .zip then you can get everything.
it was already a .zip file when i downloaded it. Changing it to the .suite extension did nothing
great suite, one problem, when unzipping i get an error message regarding the iconpackager theme. Seems the file is corrupt. Tried with both WinRAR and WinZip as well as universal extractor all give the same file corrupt error message. :)
I have ordered my copy of Win7. Just one thing. The actual version number is 6.1 but they are calling it windows 7. who knew :)
same problem here, tried updating IP 5 and get the serial number not valid error. But clicking install all updates worked. sometime, somethings just make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm :)
Unlike the guy in the thread, I have bought pretty much all of Stardock's products and I DO think it's reasonable to expect Impulse to give a warning message instead of doing nothing useful other than checking licences..
respectfully i disagree, It's up to the person to check whether there O/S or machine supports or meets the recommended/minimum requirements before installing something. It's called common sense. and even though most of us have forgotten o
control the web???. Next thing you know we will have security checks at rest rooms and background reports before you take a dump. This is all getting slightly ridiculous. I partly blame the media for their unceasing scare campaigns and the constant state of fear that they insist on keeping people in.
Well .I guess you do not beta test . So now loading an un needed app ???? Then having to customize settings .Which did not work!!! This a problem as noted by others . So microsoft ,Avira are all HTML . No forget it if you want the address and logins . I know longer test norton . WHY . To big a footprint .To much demand on resources . PLUS!PLUS! the hidden crap in the registry .I keep image backups . Plus different O.S. on different SCSI drives .
</p
right click a blank space on the dock, then choose view... make sure lock icon dragging is not checked.
If I download the firmware off their website will that file contain the driver that I need to use my CD-ROM with no problems?
i doubt it, the firmware update probably contains an updated database of disc types so that you can burn more manufacturers discs at the correct speed. You shouldn't need a specialized driver because optical drives like cd/dvd drives are usually covered by the generic windows drivers that come with your windows installation. it s
this one will be around for awhile.
i know someone who will pull out his fingernails for 50 bucks :)
still getting the occasional problem of some skins not loading with the new interface . I get the message "there appears to be no uis file are you sure this is a windowblinds skin" . well yes i am sure lol and these same skins load just fine in the old interface. Once they are loaded i can change back to the new look and the skins are there for me to use. Got me stumped why this would be happening. :)
when using impulse to download and install the stardock software it should be installed and activated automatically. Just a hunch but it may be that the install was somehow corrypted. Try uninstalling SKS 7 and using a registry cleaner to remove all traces from the registry then use impulse to download and install SKS 7 again. If the same problem still occurs drop an email to outlining the exact problem and see if they can help yo
Didn't have anything on a complete AVG scan....
Lantec i would do a scan with malwarebytes antimalware or some other malware programs as well. AVG is not perfect. I use it myself and there are plenty of viruses that it misses. :)
tell the roomate to get their own computer to mess up, or create a limited user account for him on yours. I would be going for the first option though. Other People + Your computer = A whole lotta pain and aggravation
You will need the permission of the person who created the wallpaper before you can upload it here. If you contact that person and get permission include the permission text file in the wallpaper zip. Uploading without permission is not allowed here :). Good luck and i look forward to seeing your work.
i was on my way to work and when i heard the news i almost crashed the car. I had to pull over for awhile and just sit there.
