How on Earth can i gather intelligence on minor races??? I keep searching for an espionage bar for a minor race but i can't find any. What am i missing here? Also, i'm wondering what are the differences between the espionage levels and where can i see how much more do i have to spend to reach a specific intelligence level. Thanks

I agree 100%. I had the same 'Civ4' feeling too. Now i'm pretty lost in the endless options in GCII and........ i'm lovin' it! 'Hey, why the hell is visual ship design even in? What's the point? I don't want to design my ships, yet i can't stop using this feature! Damn you Stardock!'
No major problem here either. Just a little annoyed by the fact that the autorun menu pops up every time i turn my computer on...
It may be easier but i guess i'm used to edge scrolling. It is a standard for all strategy games so it shouldn't be that difficult to implement. I'm playing fullscreen and my scrolling speed is 60. Also the tool tips don't show up most of the time if i don't move the cursor around a bit. PS: What's up with all those sticky threads? There are just too many of them right now.
I'm not even sure that level 1 planets exist. I haven't seen any.
So..... when is the first patch coming? I think you can all understand why i'm asking this so early. There are things that need to be fixed .... lots of them. Sure they are minor bugs but they can get pretty annoying. Fortunately i can still enjoy the game while waiting for them to be fixed.

If you dont want the autorun, brose to the Program Files\ \Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2 folder and Make a short cut to the Galciv2.exe file. and use that to launch. It pops up whenever i turn the pc on.

I need some help with the following: 1) On windows startup the GalCiv II autorun menu pops up. Scrolling around the map seems unreliable... sometimes i'll push the mouse into the border to scroll and cool, it scrolls, other times it just refuses, and i have to try again. Weird. I checked out the forum and i'm a bit confused. Here in Greece it was supposed to ship on the 24th. When will it ship now? And why will it ship on the 17th in Gemany? That's way too late.
