In the details for the latest patch, it states that it fixes a bug allowing players to create galaxies with more then 5 solar systems. Its not working, well at least on mine? Or is it mean something else?

Yeah I agree with lord, the weapon just doesn't sound laser enough if its a laser. And those three cannons are where the ability railgun round is fired from.

In the new patch, when you hover the cursor over one of your ships it gives you weapon details. For the Kol Battleship It has three categories. Average Beam Damage, Average Autocannon Damage, and Average Laser Damage. The Kol Battleship doesn't have lasers does it? At least not to my knowledge, unless thats their to reference the three big cannons on the side. However I thought those were just that, cannons.
