If you look through a large enough message board you will always find some people who agree with any opinion. Civ 5 is getting pretty mixed user reviews at the moment, but the primary reason is the AI. Other issues people have mirror things people complained about in every edition of Civ (and yes every edition of Civ had a very vocal minority that hated it).
I havent played CIV V and wasnt going to comment on t

I have a feeling that the tide slowly is changing. CIV V starts with a bang and great reviews. Gradually more and more people discover that it is a bit "hollow" compared to expectations (and CIV IV). Elemental starts as a flop, but the 1.0 fixes and the 1.1 promise, makes gamers start having a little belief in its future. A year from now things can be very different... Since a lot of the hardcore CIV fans arent happy, there is a little window the next few months for getting this game back on track and stealing some new strategy gamers from them :) The race is on To be a bit more serious. The changes sounds good and I am looking forward to them. Stay on these roads...

I have said this before, but since the frog hasnt listened yet, I will repeat. The number of people in the world is limited. All empires are in essence "fighting" for the same people to join them. If there is a pool of people that will be attracted to cities each round then prestige will be very important. Each city will produce prestige, but for each level the prestige raised exponentially: Level 1: 1 prestige, Level 2: 4 prestige, Level 3: 16 prestige. If a pion
