I have researched alliances but see nowhere to ask for one. When I ask my neighbor to attack someone only a few races come up. Where are the others?

Ship movement bug? You can still move your ships 1 space after they have reached their limit... in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

The message comes up and says you cant move anymore and then your ship moves one space each time you do this...

Notice I cannot launch my troopships or colony ships they are stuck! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this and save the game!

To top that off I landed my colony ships there and my troop ships there that were all full to the brim and when I launch them they are empty and because there is no population I cannot load them again!!!

I took over a planet using mass driver attack. All the population was destroyed but I took the planet with some buildings. I cannot colonize the planet and their are no people. What can I do???

Try turning off full screen mode if you have it on. Worked for me!

Leave all victory options on and you can get class 10-17 planets and up.... Leave only conquest on and you will always start with a class 10. Any reason for this?

Yep this works good for map placement of planets/stars and it helps but there are still race clusters when there is plenty of room other places..

Too many times races are clustered together and half the map is wide open!
