I think Tattyhat can definitely say the game was not to their liking. That wasn't trolling in any sense. There are aspects of the game that LH did better and some that I like from AoW. There is also a very nice character when playing LH that I don't feel when I play AoW. But, I like both games as they provide me with different enjoyment from each.
Hmm, it's not productive to just say "I don'

There is obviously quite a few similarities between these two games and after playing AOW for some time, I can't help but wish that some of the features from AOW were present in Legendary Heroes, and vice-versa. What AOW3 has that Legendary Heroes should have: - Item courier: one of your heroes has an item that your other hero needs? Just click on it and send it to the other hero through
I really would like to see a game taking the best features of both- there's some things in AOW3 that drive me nuts because of LH, and vice versa.
Completely agree. I'm going to write a post now and hope you might contribute to it!

Yeah, I'm interested in hearing more (legitimate) information on 1.6 and the spouse DLC. After playing AOW3 for some time, it makes me appreciate FE:LH even more. The more you can build on this game, the more likely the next installment will sit at the top of the Steam charts like Age of Wonders has. I plan on writing a post soon on what I think LH can learn from AOW3, though. There are some good things (item courier!) that could be carr

There are definitely some things that AOW does better here than FE:LH, but I'm wishing that AOW learned some of the lessons that FE did. More to come, but there are definitely strengths and weaknesses here in comparison to one another. Also, graphics aren't quite as good as I expected, but gameplay > graphics.

So, herein lies my problem with GalCiv3 in its current state. I don't know what to suggest because I don't know what is planned already. Is this the most current version of the game? What kind of things should I be looking for? Bugs, obviously, but beyond that, what is actually on the table? Right off the bat, I don't like that the turn color/counter resets to green/1 after it has moved. It leaves me thinking that it still has tu

It's basically a more focused Fallen Enchantress and has always been the genre leader in tactical combat. Most people refer to AOW1 or Shadow Magic when considering "combat done well" in 4X games. Those sieges that people want so badly for FE? They're usually referencing Age of Wonders. It's true fantasy in that it has the fantasy races you'd expect. It's 4X, but much more focused on combat. It's been in development since before Civ V came out, so contrar
Quoting ten9, reply 18 It doesn't sound like you know the previous games. They have their own engine. Simplistic?! You obviously do not know what you are talking about. You do not have to like it, but do move on if you don't have anything meaningful to say about it. No! You move on if you have nothing more to do than insult people, fan person.
Go away, Tat

Been playing it a bit and it's definitely an upgrade. I didn't *really* like the first one, but this one has some serious shades of brilliance. There are still some weird quirks (I have to watch ALL of my allies every move??!) but the game looks much prettier, the UI is much improved, the new races are fun and the new campaign is really great. It's not as deep as say, Civ 5 with expansions, but it is much deeper than it was before and a LOT more fun. I reall

Oh man, this game looks good. All of the preview "Let's Plays" are just mind-blowingly good. It looks like it took a couple cues from Fallen Enchantress and may be the better game. It certainly looks poised to be my new go-to.... Watch Quill18's playthrough as a Dwarf Theocrat. If this game isn't 9+ across the board, then I don't know what fantasy 4X game will be.

I'm buying it, so I'll let you know. As an "Instant Access" game, I don't think there's an NDA. However, I'm REALLY looking forward to Age of Wonders 3. It looks like it may replace Legendary Heroes for me, sadly. All of the "Let's Plays" make it look like a better game...
pffft i already know everything we learn anyways no seriously i got an A on 3 of my 4 classes pretest lol
Hate to sound like a jerk, but it looks like you could probably pay more attention in English class. Bottom line: don't skip school. It's not even supposed to be fun, so what's the point, anyway?
