Just wondering how economy really works. There are certain improvements that are supposed to increase economy by a certain percent. However, it seems that I can build a whole bunch of these, but I barely see any increase revenue. One thing that always puzzled me about Gal Civ is that I couldn't figure out exactly how income, approval rating, science points and production points are calculated. Don't get me wrong, I love this game. But for example, I really liked how in Civ III I

Is there a screan that explains food production and usage. I don't know when to build a farm, or if I even need to. Is food considered something that all colonies can share, or does every planet have to make its own. Basically, how does it work?
Moving around the map with the mouse becomes a headache. For example, if I pass the mouse through the menu button, or the map at the lower right hand corner, the main maps stops scrolling. It should scroll in the direction of the mouse reguardless of what the mouse is passing through. Also, pop up menues stick.
I can trade 97gold for 100. I can do this over, and over, and over.... in the same turn. This can't be by design. Granted I have great diplomatic abilities. But this shouldn't be allowed.
All these potential bugs are important. Report it in the Bugs forum, and have a save game in case Startdock needs it.
