I pressed enter to get the chat window up and typed something and had it show up on the main screen , frame rates remained the same... I went into diplomacy , send some metal to another race waited for the message in the solar system screen " Thankyou for the xxxx " and the frame rates dived. Thanks for the replies and glad im not the only one none to pleased with this..... Yes i love the eye candy but due to some annoyances like this i still prefer galactic civilization.. Its just a stupid design , why give another alien race a mission that is not your ally or your friend , its bloody crazy. Allies should ask if you would like to do a mission which you can deny if you want. Races that are on 0% requesting me to do missions , why the hell should i? Sort it out

Im finding this kinda annoying but why give me missions to do things when i haven't even seen that enemy yet. For all i know that enemy could be at the other end of the star system! Why get annoyed at me when i don't do the mission? , surelly they should ask me to ACCEPT or DENY the request?.. Can i not ask them to do missions , if not why? How can i request money , metal or crystals from then? Getting kinda miffed at the game if all im doing is damn chores for e

I've only been playing for the last 40mins however it happens on any map and with some messages in the tutorial... With no messages the game is totaly smooth , but any message of " Thanks for the support " or " alliance not accepted " frame rate dives out

Basically this IS WITH VSYNC OFF , whenever there is a message the frame rate dives out... I tested this in the solar system zoomed out.. Smooth as anything to start off with , gave 100 metal to another race came back to the solar system view and the message came up " THANKYOU FOR SUPPORT ". The frame rate dived to about 15-20fps , message clears off the screen frame rates back to 60+. I asked for a trade alliance , message pops up that it was accepted or declined again frame rates di
