to be honest, it is the worst spell in the game. it requires no skill. wait for sumone to get below 700 health(remember additional damage as it travels). charge up from anywhere on the map (from your own base, behind fog of war). free gold. the spell even fires off when the opponent teleports back to their base. seriously, i wouldnt mind shooting a TB fireball at someone on the otherside of the map, because rea

I just dont understand how you are letting the game get to the point where he is getting an Ash consistently. You should have ended it by then if you were outplaying him at all. I dont see any possible way that you can "dominate" a game AND the other team can consistently get an Ash. That seems like a contradiction of terms to me. Usually the comeback for Regs (especially auto attack builds) is at Mageslayer. Really a Reg should be turning the tide well before
but a 18k crit item in the hands off any other demigod doesn't have a huge success chance because regulus can fire so quickly it makes him so ubber powerful
Sure. BUT, Reg is a famously weak DG early on. So it gets the advantage of being strong late, but gets the disadvantage of being weak early. That sounds pretty balanced to me. As people have been saying, you should have ended the game WAY before you let a Reg get an 18k artifact if things w

If we have the same group of people playing together a few ames in a row it would be nice if teams can adjust strategies and/or DG's in private before the game starts.
I thought that this was possible already. I swear to god that I saw somebody do it once, but I didnt know how they did it and I've nev
To be fair, this is a REALLY bad build IMO. No mines, and its a bad auto attack build. You have to do one or the other.
The stats dont really make much sense. Right now, every DG has won more than 50% of their matches except for QoT, which is the least played DG and is at 45%. I just dont think that you can make the numbers add up so that all the most popular DGs win 53% of the time, all the moderately popular DG win 51%+ of the time, and only the QoT, the least played DG, is at 45%. The numbers just arent going to work out even though I havent run them.
The rewards for killing an AI DG need to be vastly lower than what you get for killing a human DG. Of course, you will still have the problem of really bad humans playing, but you need some kind of ladder to fix that.
well i have found each demigod has a counter regs is tb tb pretty much owns reg and can hold his own tb suck vs oak oak sucks vs erebus and it goes on and on they each have a counter and they each can kill each other if your having trouble againist reg then maybe you haven't figured out how to kill him yet
Not really. Reg's usual counter is said to be UB. TB isnt the best matchup for Reg, but its not a huge counter once
Tower killings isnt an efficient use of time at all for Reg users until pretty deep in the game. It just takes too long to take a tower down early for the marginal advantage that you get. In any case, its not like Reg is a huge tower killer in my games. I usually see Rooks as the big tower killers. Reg's range is not very useful for anything other than towers anyway. Your statement that he already gets some kind of huge advantage from having range in terms of k
In general its a good idea to not do whatever HorseRadish is suggesting. Anyway, its not a terrible build. You dont need Sniper Scope that early. Its a minimal boost to range. Having more range than towers is key eventually, but you arent going to be going at towers at level 2 (its a completely inefficient use of time at that point), so save it til later. You should have a point in snipe pretty early. Its good for early harassment. I like taking it
Lol, that should be EA. I have no idea why I went insane for a little bit and switched EA to UE.
Exact same problem here. Everything looks and works normal in the lobby. The "Waiting for other players" screen pops up and goes away. Then nothing happens. The center icon pulses for me. And just keeps pulsing forever and nothing else happens. I cant play multiplayer anymore because the maps wont load.
Snipe is always your first skill you start harassment from the second the game starts
I dont agree with that, but the difference between when you want it (level 1) and when I want it (level 3) isnt really substantial. A few minutes maybe. I like going AF and UE because this helps me creep kill right off the bat (which is my primary goal right away, harassment comes later), and with those two skills and the right items I stand a good chance against some DGs s
Yeah, I'm an autoattack Reg player and I dont like these builds at all. The strength of an autoattack Reg comes from a combo of AF and EA IMO. These dont take EA until very late, which is a mistake in my mind. You should be pounding AF and EA hard. One point in Snipe at level 3. Sniper Scope I is decent, but not that early - its good for tower attacks of course, but its just not an effecient use of your time to be doing much with towers until you reach a mugh h
Dont give Snipe much priority. Give it one point at level 3 then leave it alone for a very long time. It doesnt help you level substantially. Go AF level 1, Stats level 2, Snipe level 3, then you should be hitting up AF and Stats at all possible opportunities except for perhaps a point in MoB and eventually Scope when you get to the point where you are messing with towers (which is fairly late actually). Remember that speed, AF, and Stats are the key to levelling, and
I've found that I can take most DGs out with an auto attack Regulus build on a 1v1 basis from the mid game onwards. There are some enemy DG builds which are an exception to this. But yes, the biggest strength of Reg isnt his 1v1 abilities, but rather his teamwork. If you can work properly with the rest of your teammates, you can do very bad things to the other team.
If it is so easy, why do you not do it and post it here for everyone to +karma you? How much coding in your life have you done?
It should be absolutely trivial to change the favor points required to buy favor items to 0 for every one of them. That makes them available to everybody. Or you can trivially remove them by setting their value to 1000000 favor points. There is no way that his suggestion should be a dif
There is a discussion of this build in: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/348817 Some pros/cons are outlined there, so if you want to know how to beat this type of build, thats a good place to start.
Krazikarl: Extracide directly brought up the amount of time horseradish had played, by accusing him of not playing enough. This is perhaps the only time it is 100% valid for horseradish to throw those stats in his face. In no way did he say he was better than everyone because of that.
Uh, thats not what I see. He (Extracide) said that Horseradish might have a little MORE experience than him, but argued that it wasnt relevant to the conversation.
Beast is nothing your 1500 damage you spit has cost you 25% movement speed and -800 damage from MoB now when 3 mines explode on you i do a lot more damage then you. This time dark will stomp this time cause they have learned the OP of lord Erebus
Come on now. You are suggesting a 4 attack chain that requires that you get the first shot in as a counter to a 1 shot
The problem is that in a small sided situation (1v1 or even 2v2) you cant just run every time you see him because then you spend all your time running and he spends all his time farming/flagging. The bottom line is that unless the UB is terrible, you arent going to be able to do anything in an early game situation other than run. I suppose you can keep running around hoping to eventually get to a high enough level to be able to do something, but you are starting off the game wit
In practice people dont do a pure attributes build like that. Most of the ones I've seen have Snipe in there (1 point early, more later). This addresses 2 of your cons. Other skills are basically sprinkled in. So yeah, a PURE attribute build is probably not very good, but you can go with a mostly attribute build and do well. Some of your objections are pretty silly. Yeah, a well coordinated team could stack armor. But if you have a team with any coo
I've seen lots of momentum changes. A DG suddenly buys a bunch of expensive equipment/artifacts that he has been saving up on. A team suddenly buying a ton of creep upgrades at once(they are usually bunched together now to avoid priest farming - so you see people go priests/angels/catapults at the same time which is a big effect). Heck, even builds coming into their own in the mid to late game (there are lots of DGs that famously start off slow but pick up). If your
What makes Enhanced Attributes so "huge"? I don't understand where that sentiment is coming from. My argument is that if programmers are going to program functions and create animations for four (and sometimes six) active abilities, there seems to be a focus there on the active abilities. Maybe every player won't choose to get all four in one game, and that's likely where the idea of Enhanced Attributes came in, but I doubt they intended for you to not want to take a
