I love this game and I love the support that Stardock gives us, but I agree with scifi1950. I have never had any problems with gigantic maps with abundant planets and I don't play the metaverse. If you need to perform memory optimization, then great! I support that... but optimizations should be transparent to the user. If you need to [I]remove existing functionality[/I] to achieve those goals, then it is not an optimization, your removing something that we enjoyed in the past. The

Quite a few people have commented on how they wish the older technologies could be build at anytime in the game. For example, if you are strapped for cash and you can't affort to build all those banking centers, you just want a market place! My suggestion is to have the higher technologies build in stages. Or that as the high level buildings are built, when they reach the level of the older technologies, they will begin to produce at that level. For example, the factory chain:<b
What would be nice (you guys listening stardock?) is that as the high level factorys and other upgradable buildings are built... they begin their production before their construction is complete... for example... The factory chain: Basic Factory: cost: 50 output: 8 Factory: cost 75 output: 10 Enhanced Factory: cost: 100 output: 14 etc. So if I where to build an enhanced factory on an empty spot, after 50% of it was complete (i.e. I have spent 50 industry po
