Seems more likely a bugged game. I have a lot of hours in this game and have never seen the AI do that. I have seen them beat me to a spot by one turn. All too often! There are also a couple of other possibilities off the top of my head: 1. The AI cast the spell that improves the land. 2. There was a city too close on your turn that the AI razed, which would allow the AI to see new buildable spots. (You don't see tile yields when there is a city too close to that s

What happens is as you find new technologies you earn tech points. (basically a percentage of what you just researched) Then you are able to trade these tech points, which apply directly to the field of their type. Meaning you will get x number of points towards that type of research. To view this in action, open your tech tree before you trade and you will see all of the un-researched techs completely empty except for the one you are currently re
these are fantastic changes! So, um, ETA?
Thought they said in the stream yesterday that it was opt-in today, another possible opt-in on Tuesday and then final release next thursday.
So lets say you have a 'Doom Stack' of 7 awesome guys. For the horrible maintenance fee of -7 Mana per turn you can raise that stack's speed by 1...I don't see how this is a game-breaking issue [e digicons]:\[/e]
If it stacks wouldn't that be +7 movement for the whole army, or am I reading the OP wrong?
Seems this only works after installing Win10, meaning if you haven't installed yet, you have no worries. Also, you can turn off that sharing. The nasty bit is that it defaults to on. Tsk tsk, MS.
Does this ring apply to sovereign cast spells? If so, will that be affected by the patch where the unit no longer loses its turn? Interested to hear which unit people are equipping this ring on...
Just finished watching the replay, pretty good stream, missed the live version :( Looked like a fun episode to be there live, although I kept thinking- "Adam, give Drogon that shield in your inventory!" (Hope I didn't miss him giving one, I probably did and sound like a fool, lol!)
I really like this idea. The only downside I see is the bunch of crap we are going to see from the "I hate turn limits!" crowd. Implementing this will certainly bring the possible number of turns to a lower quantity.
As Heavenfall said, you can get a hero from each minor. Also, you can get units and resources from them as well.
Agreed. Adding a random option which turns the portraits into question marks would be ideal.
That option is there, I'm just asking for it to be the default selection as you setup a new game. Currently it always has minors chosen.
I'd love to see the minor races default to "Random" during game creation. Not exactly a huge deal because it is easy enough to change, but... Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Describes my playthrough on insane as well. Remained at 1 threat / 0 doom counter until turn 190 or so, after I killed both his lieutenants, then he declares war on me ONLY after 1 turn before he is about to lose the game.
You'd think killing either of his lieutenants should trigger all out war, no matter the threat counter.
Pedantic reply, but, your title should probably say 1.01 rather than 1.1.
Quoting Stalker0, reply 194 Isn't SK basically Legendary Heroes 2? More like an spin off IMO
Exactly!
LOL, yep, that'd do it!
So as I was browsing the Steam forums for LH the last two days I noticed a sudden spike in the number of players. Yesterday it actually had a reading of 315-320 or so, where normally it doesn't show anything being below 300. Then today it is showing 540-550. Wonder where that surge of playing came from.
Had one in my last random game, 2 tiles from starting city. Anecdotal I know, but....
You can never go wrong when you have a "ludicrous speed" !
Has all this been cancelled?
Don't think so, Frogboy just mentioned it in a live devstream during one of the SK release streams. Mentioned the backporting of some of the things they've improved/fixed in SK back to LH. edit: That was either the wednesday or thursday stream of last week, forget which one. You can find that on youtube, and is mentioned in the last 10 or 15 minutes I believe. You'll kno
I also vote leave them in.
Just doubleclick on the save game and that will load it.
That what I do as well. Not to say that this shouldn't be fixed changed!
Don't think I've ever had a game where there wasn't one. Do you have the whole map revealed? Very possibly it is in some far corner.
OH! That SK badge is new, isn't it? Does it only happen when posting directly from this forum? edit: checked from the FE forums and it seems my GC3 founder badge disappeared from my posts there, so I assume founders badges only show when posting from their respective forums now?
You're right, that is kind of an annoying restriction with those type of targeting spells. I have this fixed internally. Once it gets the 'ok' from QA we'll put it in a future build. EDIT: I should say that I've specifically fixed it for square-radius-type spells/abilities (Rain of Arrows) and 3-tile-adjacent type spells/abilities (such as the soldiers Cleave ability). If there are other ones
Heavenfall, you showing up after your name was said a couple times made me think of years ago when Derek Smart would show up in threads whenever his name was mentioned on gaming forums a la Beetlejuice. That got me to search out his name to see if he was still around the industry... lo and behold, still up to shenanigans, lol. Really brightened my day to see some things never change.
