CTD when United Planets meets in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

In 2 different games after applying beta patch 2 this morning, I get a CTD when the United Planets first meets. debug.err to follow.... Anyone help me out? When I reload the autosave it creates a CTD.
