Well the Devs are claiming that 95% of us can't beat Suicidal in this 1.1 Beta 2 patch. I have beaten it. Yet my SCORE doesn't reflect this. You wouldn't know I'm in the "5%" that can defeat it. Actually I'm fairly confident I'm the first or one of them. I'm sure only 1% or less have beaten Suicidal in the 1.1 Beta 2 so far. So why shouldn't my score reflect that I'm in this "95%" that can beat Suicidal?

Is it an exploit to upload the same Game over and over again? Lets say you have a 800,000 point game. You finish the game and Report the score on Metaverse. You decide to reload the same game before winning the game, and play it for a few more years. You then post a 1,000,000 point game 2 days later. Only its basically the same game but alittle higher score now. Then you decide that wasn't good enough and a couple days later you post an
n/m I figured it out lol
My Custom Constructors all have a limit of 3 su for speed even if they have engines with 9, 11 or 8 total speed. After launching the Custom Constructors I am allowed all 9, 11 or 8 speed for the first turn. After the first movements are spent, it will revert back to only 3 speed. It also displays it wrong when you look you can see 11/3 su upon launching it. I tried this with multiple Custom Constructors, some upgraded and one fresh from scratch. T
Its a Beta version of the upcoming Patch, the Release version has fewer bugs in it. The Beta needs some time for the Devs to find and fix the problems that happens when they are trying to update it. I recommend you play the Release version 1.0x with the Bonus Pack until they can flesh out the game balance for this upcoming patch that is currently in Beta.
My Civilization Manager is Displaying is Displaying 28 weeks and the Planet View is showing 14 weeks on the same planet. This has happened to multiple Planets. Edit: I am playing against one AI on normal right now, and I went to the Timeline Tab to see how I was doing. Inside I found out that Popularity and Treasury where very odd. Every Vertical change of my graph was the exact opposite of Terran Alliance. So lets say I had alot of money, it would show Terran as having very littl
Playing this latest Beta and the AI Population is having massive fluctuations on Planets. They are jumping from 2.6 Billion to 3.2 in one week with 78% Approval. I have some small ships hanging out near their planet watching. I sent 500 Million troops that took 3 turns to get to the enemy Planets. None of the three planets have over 2 billion pop. Four turns later 2 of their planets are over 3 Billion.
I just played a Huge, Slow Tech, Suicidal game just to see what it was like in this Beta. Within the first year the Computer AI's had over 100 Colonies. Most of them with Populations below 50 Million. I have seen 5 and 15 Million Population planets. Can you make limit on Colony ships to at least 100 Million Colonists or else they can't Launch the Colony Ship?
Death to micro I say -ubertaco When you said you wanted the Death of Micro, I was pointing out, that game already exists, and your side never supported it. -me <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%
My side? I'm not on the side of micro in MoO3, but if you want total indepth micro you can do it in MoO3. I'm not even on the side of MoO3 at all, I'm just pointing out that if you want a micro fest that's as good a place as any to do it. Moo3 was built around the concept of killing Micro. When you s
Maybe that's the intent? Death to micro I say You already have that game and its called Moo3. We all know how well that went when they listened to that idea. There shouldn't even be this discussion anymore after what your side accomplished with Moo3. You have to give the option to M
I had posted a number of problems that may happen on the Social to Military system in this thread. https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=162&AID=108974 Someone posted a link to this thread on how you plan to bring about the changes. There are a number of issues I want to take up. 1. How will you tell in the Domestic Policy: Expenses what money is going to Military and what is going to Social? I assume this doesn't ch
Here are some of the problems I think might occur from this Social to Military system. 1. Inability to tell what production is needed for your ships. You'll have to add Social and Military Production together. Only you wont know what the Social base number is, so it would be useless without a calculator by your side to do the math. If Planet X has 70 Military, and 30 Social, you will be able to tell that 70 goes into 140 two ti
I posted this in another thread, but that post doesn't appear at all so I'll post it here. The Upcoming patch says "Unused Social Spending routed to military spending (or back to treasury if nothing is being used)" But How will this work? I am concerned this will work worse than advertised by other players. The problem is if I spend 150 (Military) on a Ship that only costs 120, does that 30 go back into my treasury? I don't know that It does, and adding the Socia
How will this work? I am concerned this will work worse than advertised by other players. The problem is if I spend 150 (Military) on a Ship that only costs 120, does that 30 go back into my treasury? I don't know that It does, and adding the Social +50 to the 150 only makes it 200 spending on a ship that costs 120. So the end result would be 80 wasted. If thats an accurate account of what will happen I'm not sure it will help much wit
Thanks I'm glad they aren't the Publisher, I think the last Take-Two game I had didn't have the right CDs in it. You can imagine how I felt about that. Awesome game btw
Ditto .Spartan
Then why are they even mentioned in a Top 10? May aswell change the name to UPS or FedEx instead of Take-two Take-two is a Publisher last I recall, so if they are labeling Stardock's game as their OWN, getting listed on websites as the Creator, and Distributing it, they can very well be called the Publisher now.
I thought you all kept getting burnt by Publishers so decided to Publish by yourselves. What made you change your minds?
Markets give 15% increase in income, so unless you have 7 Farms it wont be greater than placing a farm, after 7 Farms a Stock Market would be 105% of a Farm, and you wont have to wait for the Population to fill up. I think a good rule of thumb would be to place enough farms for growth, then place +eco buildings until your Population is full, then just upgrade the Economy Buildings into farms as they are needed
I can't even play Half-Life 2/Counterstrike anymore, after a month the thing would not update properly to the server to d/l whatever it needed and that wouldn't allow me to play that game anymore. So thats ONE copy protection that ruined 50 dollars worth of money. A second example is Rome: Total War. I had to use the CD in the Drive, and when I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to another drive with more space it didn't work. It got stuck
Thanks, I'm glad it wasn't my game then.
Hello I just invaded a planet with 2000 Troops and did Information Warfare, I won barely against them only had 150 or so troops left. When I got control of the planet I noticed that it was 4294967 Billion Population. Funny thing is this bug occured during or immediately after the Invasion because the Planet did not show up as very big on the Mini-map. I have the Population selected, the biggest ones prior to the invasion were some of the Minor Race
This is what I do. Select race, make sure 1 point in Morale, 5 points in Economics, 5 points where ever else you like. (I put them into Military Production though). I pick Federalist and for Techs I make sure I have the Stellar Cartography and as many Engine techs as possible. 1. I'll start out with Research 90% Social 5% Military 5%, Buy a Factory, buy 2 Ships -Seems like I need 5% in both of those or I cant purchase
