Aarggh I did lose an election. I dont remember that happening. Very inconvenient. Demanding a Surrender is not one of the options. I keep asking for all their planets but only once works, the same for money. The relations dont continue to drop. If everyone is happy at the time of election under the party that is not mine, will I be able to regain the election? I guess all I can do is plop an influence base right on top of them, see how

My citizens are around 65% approval and Ive tried to lower taxes before going to war but didnt help. I want to go to war with tbe humans who only have a few measely planets left and will be an easy victory. What do I have to do to get the votes?
Whats wrong with installing weapons and armour on a colony ship type hull? You can build it alot sooner than medium hulls
I started over and found I have to save most of the early hoarded cash to survive the cash burn until Population/Taxes start to slowly rise over Maintenance. In that game I had too many Class 4's and its 12 BC just for the colony.
Im pretty much at a loss too. I think I am playing fairly well with what I have, I colonize early and survive the cash burn of the early game. I have some good planets but I am way behind on tech, and the civs always start to declare war on me because Im weak. They have already invaded a couple of my planets and I havent even built a ship with weapons on it yet. Diplomacy tends to be negative
I colonized too many planets right awa y and my maintenance costs are greater than tax revenue at 0% spending. Population very low, hence low taxes, Im in a downward spiral. Any way out?
I cant trade research, nearly everyone is at war with me, not sure why. I am evil though maybe that has something to do with it. If they arent at war they are weary, plus this are friendly with each other and probably coordinate their research to research different things then trade it. Can I ask what you guys do when you have a class 4 or 5 planet, is that a good choice to build all research buildings?
Im at 50% research playing 9 enemies, huge galaxy, bright, and Im way behind in everything. The enemies have all the tech
If you remove all of the bonuses from the the civ when you customize their traits, you get 10 points. PlUS you get their innate LOGISTICS and MINITURIZATION bonuses. So why does pick the YOR that has the highest LOGISTICS and good MINITURIZATION and then choose your 10 points??
Do the starbases AFFECT your ships or add it own weapons to the fight? For example, all your ships have lasers and you build a Rail gun module on the starbase, does the rail gun module become useless or does it add Railguns to the fight?
Why does the AI build 15 multimedia centers on a planet with 100% approval??
Earth had 2 planets and wouldnt trade for less than a 15:1 advantage, or accept any **suggestions** I had before I had to wipe them out
Ill take the fancy shmancy weapons any day and crank up the difficulty to impossible
I agree with Caael. Missing all the specials and weapon upgrades is a huge letdown IMO. Whats wrong with adding specials to the modules menu. Laser 2 research should also allow Laser 1 heavy mount, or inflict more damage than laser 1. It shouldnt always be about, ooh, it takes 1 less space. Also, damage ratings of 1, 2, 3 should be more specific and tell you how many hit points it takes out. Armour and shields should reduce a % this. If it is 1, does a
All those specials and upgradable weapons made all the combat fun of MOO2. GalCiv2's laser1, laser2, laser3, laser 4, laser 5 is pretty lame. I havent even gotten a new beam weapon yet and the game is almost won by conquest.
I miss MOO2 ship design. Battle pods, time warp facilitators, Heavy Armor, Structural Analyzer, Damper Fields. Weapons: heavy mount, merv, shield piercing. GalCiv2 ship design isnt as sophisticated as MOO2. Also, Im trying to add bling to my ships but the "Place" button is grayed out. How do I add cosmetics?
I want to use my might as a threat and make DEMANDS on an enemy Civ, not ASK to trade (trading usually involves giving 15 techs for 1)
We need WARP INTERDICTORS
I refitted one of my ships to the latest version and the name was wrong
I have a ship in my system and want to use it to defend the system, not just a planet. I have tried putting it in Guard or Sentry Mode and have had several instances where enemy troops ships fly by unhindered to invade my planet, I didnt even know they were there until they invaded. Why didnt my ship intercept it? Also, what is the point of having your ships defend a planet when any fleets they were in will be disbanded when you fly them to
hmmm, yes. that would explain it. I wish the population cap listed on the planet screen would display the actual cap and not the food cap. I guess I can scrap those farms then. I wish there was a Galactapedia in the game
Im talking about population growth RATES. Why does one of my planets stagnate at 3 billion people when the cap is 21? Everyone is happy and plenty to eat. Where can you view the growth rate?
Where can I find population growth rates for a planet? I have a few planetes that have plenty of farms but their population is stagnating at about 3 billion. Whats the problem, why isnt the population growing, everyone is happy and plenty to each.
thanks
