I just had one last thing to say on this. I don't think there is one skinner here that doesn't comprehend the problem is with Weather.com changing their script. Which they have a right to do. I have read every post and every thread. I see most of the Skinners only agreeing about where the problem lies. Sure its not Wincustomize/Stardocks problem....but this is where the fine line has been drawn. The Skinners are asking Wincustomize/Stardock to help find a solution. Te
We are in the process of producing a replacement gadget. That widget was provided as a sample of what could be done. It is not "part" of DesktopX functionality but we understand people like it. The new version will use the SD accuweather feed (and have the requiered logo and links). It will not be editable by the user .
what a big help for us!
Instead of giving to the authors of WinCustomize some help with the weather widgets, you have decided to delete all of them from WC! Is this a solution? Unbelievable! Does anybody cares about the thousand users who used to have them in their computer desktop? It is obvious that WC doesn't care with this solution. In the other hand, these 10 days period until you start to delete all the weather widgets from WC ar
I really don't understand why so many people are bashing Stardock over this one. First and foremost, Stardock already did what they could when they partnered with Accuweather some time ago and *hosted* the weather feed themselves. This means Stardock is the company providing and paying for the bandwidth used by their Accuweather widgets, not Accuweather. Second, DX widget authors are the *only* people responsible for choosing to use
