Eh, I keep my Approval rating at 100% in the start and expand like nuts. I play on painful and my population is always way ahead of the other races. Of course I go with Moral bonus and the frisky bonus as my main bonuses to my custom race, "The Gerbils!", so I have little problem sending 500m colonists to anywhere.

I would say that it's just a coincedence as there are only so many of those tile sets to go around. One just happened to be duplicated in the same game. Or there are only like 50 tile sets and they're recycled. I'd assume theres something like 200 to 300 of them. But thats just a wild shot in the dark

If you clear the abilities tab and just play as the Drengin, you get absolutely NO bonus to morale. This is beta 1.1 so eh, it might be fixed but I don't feel like updating. I did however have a +7% to logistics ability...

I don't know how to either. But what I have heard is that you can "accept" to help an "Ally" out when another one of your "Allies" declares war on the first ally; you'll break your alliance with the "aggressor ally." But thats the only way I know how to do that and you're still stuck with the first ally.

I had that happen and the Yor were completely taken out. I had one of those "temples of evil" and not one of my planets went over to them. Go go Thalans.

I've been trying to get the AI to ally me and I've never been able to do it. The only way i've ever had a team is if I set it up as a default. I research all the tech for alliances (I.e Alliance) and toss it to the race that are friendlies and nothing ever happens. Is there some command somewhere that I have to find for this or is just whenever the AI feels like it? i'm tired of giving 10k bc gifts. Thanks
